Summary: . The conditions, while far less than ideal and certainly not pasture-like, were quite clean and dry. None of the animals seemed stressed. Mostly just curious about their visitors. Upstairs, the birds were chosen, then weighed, taken in back, slaughtered, bled, and plucked. We collected all three and brought them home in large plastic sacks, each with its feet and head
