Summary: Looking back into Fern meadow, I love the winter snow on the ground. You're in Arizona and there's snow! Many people think Arizona is 'only' desert, but it is not. Looking to the southwest, you can see an old chicken coop that was once used--now in a state of disrepair and the mighty white dolomite mountains rising behind it that comprise West Fork.
