Simple chicken and rice dishes? Any recipes would be appreciated!? I need some simple chicken recipes that can be served with rice. I ask for simple recipes which do not require too many ingredients as I have only recently started teaching myself to cook :P I made a chicken and aubergine curry the other week which is very simple, with few ingredients, so anything like this, any chicken recipes that can be served with rice would be very appreciated. Also please let me know how you cook your rice. My rice does not always come out perfect so any tips would also be appreciated. Thankyou in advance

Good recipes for sesame seed chicken and fried rice? I've been wanting to make sesame seed chicken (the kind with plum jelly and tobasco sauce...not with just honey), and fried rice, but I've misplaced the recipes and can't seem to find the ones I had from the Internet. authentic simple jerk chicken recipe and rice and peas? I dunno if anyone has tried the jerk chicken at the stall in wembley market but its so delicious, they serve rice with a kind of gravy. I can't find my Taste of Home magazine that has a chicken & rice recipe in it that I want to make.? It calls for chicken thighs that you fry up a little before laying it in a dish that has rice, garlic, chicken broth and other ingredients that I can't recall. Does anyone have this exact recipe? What is the purpose of adding butter to chicken in the oven? Just curious. Was looking up some chicken and rice recipes and several had small slabs of butter on the chicken in the oven. Also, does anyone have any rice and chicken recipes that have a twist to them? I'm a little tired of the cream of mushroom/rice/chicken combo. I don't mind using real mushrooms. Can you provide crock pot chicken recipes? I really hate cooking..i mean really hate not only preparing the food but having to stand there and cook it. Last thing I want to do after work is have to do more work. I live alone and I found out that I dont mind preparing some ingredients and then tossing them into my large crock pot in the morning and have dinner waiting for me when I get home. :) I've been making some chicken soup and tonight i made some kind of chicken with rice stew. So if anyone can provide some chicken and maybe beef or lamb recipes would be appreciated. Btw what do you use to keep food from sticking to the walls of the crock pot? Also I'm diabetic so the recipes need to be free of the following: Sugar, honey, molasses, syrups, brown sugar and anything thats like sugar related. how does this chicken rice recipe sound? i found this recipe, does it sound good?? --> My favorite is chicken and rice- I make 8 cups of cooked rice, add one large can of cream of chicken, add cut up cooked chicken (I prefer to shred mine), add 3-4 cups of milk, and add 1/2 cup of butter or margarine, and mix all together.... add salt and pepper and it is sooooooo good!

does anyone know a good rice krispy chicken recipe? my mom always used to make a rice krispy chicken recipe she found out of taste of home. for the life of me, i cannot find it. i remember that it called for melted margarine, boneless skinless chicken, poultry seasoning, flour and rice krispy cereal. i can figure out the measurements for everything but the seasoning and flour. i found a lot of recipes with miracle whip but im not as interested with those. thanks

Quality Chicken Fried Rice recipe? All the Fried recipes online are really bad. They are really Americanized and are not as good as restaurant quality, they are comparable to buffet quality. Chicken and rice casserole dish.. what can I spice it up with? OK, well weeks ago someone wanted to know an easy chicken recipe for two, and someone posted a recipe like.. "put chicken drummettes in a casserole dish, and put rice in it, and place in oven.." but i want to add some seasoning.. what would be good? Like Adobo... or.. maybe broth?? And do I use raw chicken?? And how many drumettes should I use for a meal-for-two?? I dont want to keep leftover chicken in the fridge, im scared it will go bad or cross-contaminate. SIMPLE, NO BAKE, one-pot chicken and rice recipe, NOT A CASSEROLE? I used to know how to make chicken and rice in one pot on the stove using ONLY chicken, rice, and cream of mushroom soup. i forgot exactly how i did it. i know i boil the chicken first, then, do i add the rice and cream of mushroom soup at the same time? do i cook the rice in the broth before i put the soup? I guess I just need to know when to add which ingredient, and how long to cook it. Thanks for any help!! It shouldn't be this difficult!! :) I don't want to bake it!! No- Bake recipe, please!! The one I used to make in one pot ON THE STOVE took much less than an hour to make.

Need recipe for Chicken/Rice Bake with mayo? A college roommate used to make this and I would love the recipe. Basically you mix rice with a can of cream of chicken soup, mayo and mustard I think. Then you top it with chicken and smother the chicken with the remaining sauce mix. It is baked in the oven. Thank you if you can help!!! You actually mix the rice with the mayo mixture, I cannot remember if water is added. The Paula Deen recipe below looks wonderful, however, does not use mayo, so this isn't the recipe I am looking for.

Anyone know some of Chipotle's recipes to their chicken, rice or tomato mild salsa? I love it soo much if you even have the slightest bit of a clue to anyone then please tell me. I'm trying to make a cheesy chicken and rice recipe, but want to boil the chicken before baking it..? The recipe calls for uncooked chicken and regular rice, but I only have minute rice.. So I'm thinking of boiling the chicken first and then baking it all together for a shorter amount of time.. How long do you boil chicken? Should this work ok? so bake the chicken or boil it?

Need good Chicken & Rice recipe. Reputation at risk.? The weather turned cool and I decided Chicken and Rice would make a nice comfort-food dinner. My wife came in and smirked "You've been watching Alton Brown again haven't you?". The dinner... was a disaster. Cup of rice, 2 cans of Campbells Golden soup, water and onions, cooked at 350 for an hour. The rice was hard and un-cooked. We had to do 3 separate stir and microwave sessions to make it edible. And the taste ... was like canned soup poured over rice. So I need to do it right. Give me your Mom's, your Grandmoms award winning recipe. I'm not afraid to cook, saute, chop, etc. Should I have used Cream of Mushroom soup? Should I saute fresh mushrooms, add nuts, cheese, etc. I've searched RecipeZar and a few other sites and they all repeat the canned soup trick. I dont want the cheap and easy way - I want the high quality way.

Oh I always use those creams! They're delicious! :) I don't ever use garlic salt - i usually sub in minced garlic or garlic powder instead. I know it's a horrible amount of sodium! However I DO use low sodium creams and Tyson chicken! Don't worry! I'm only 22, it's not going to any children! Just a few college students watching the Vikings game tonight! :) We're pretty healthy most of the time and basically live at the wellness center. This is just a splurge!

Is there dog food out there or a chicken + rice recipe that will keep him from getting sick everytime he eats? My dog is a very picky eater. He used to eat dry food but has recently decided that he will not eat it any more. He will only eat enough to keep himself alive. We tried giving him wet food and he loves it but he gets diarrhea every time. The vet keeps prescribing him a medication that gives him a temporary fix but as soon as he finishes his prescription the same problem occurs all over again. I have tried multiple different kinds of food and have eased him into each one so it does not hurt his stomach but nothing seems to work. It is being recomended to switch him to a chicken, rice, and vegetable diet. Has anyone experienced a situation like this?

Can I change the oven heatings for this chicken recipe? I am making chicken breasts cut into thirds wrapped in a slice of bacon that wants me to cook it at 400 for 30-40 minutes.... Making a chicken rice recipe, I need to brown chicken in pan before baking? help!? fyi inexperienced cook here so bear with me. The recipe says to brown the chicken in a frying pan then bake it with the rice for 50 min. My question: is the purpose of frying the chicken to cook it entirely before baking? Hello there, I was looking for any nice recipes for Bhutan rice, or any sort of curried, masala sauce I could put over chicken or serve over jasmine rice. I would appreciate it a lot. There are no Indian-food restaurants within about 3.5 hours of where I live, and would love be able to at least make some. I have also had some similar Thai dishes made with a similar effect to an Indian dish before, which was lovely. I have a large array of spices so at lease that is not an issue.
