best Incubators for Leopard Geckos eggs? Ok, so i'm going to breed my pair of leopard geckos. I've owned them for about 4 years since they were hatchlings, and i've decided to try breeding them. I know how to and I know all the supplies i will need, except what incubator to buy. I'm thinking about buying a GQF Hova-Bator Thermal Air Flow Egg Incubator by G.Q.F Manufacturing from amazon.com, but i want to know if this would work for incubating leopard gecko eggs, or if anyone else knows of a different incubator that's under $100.00 that i can find on craigslist or amazon.

Chicken- Duck eggs? Hi there! I am looking into doing a fun and educational project for my home, I want to hatch and raise chicks and ducklings. Last year, I had tried hatching chick eggs with my GQF Mini incubator ( i got the eggs off of ebay) but sadly none of the eggs hatched. They were fertile and the chicks were developing but i have no clue what happened...any ideas? How to prevent this from happening again? Also are there any farms on Long Island or NY that could help me out with getting eggs this year? Thanks!
Anyone hatched quail eggs with the Chick-bator? Today is day 18- are they going to hatch? I notice a smell now I got the Chick-Bator with four quail CORTUNIX eggs and four more, from GQF. The site was often recommended online as a good source for incubators. I followed all directions, but of course the set up is so basic and the temperature control is not optimum. Today being the 18th day - and no signs of peeping I am now concerned, specially as I suspect there is a faint smell developing near the incubator. Anyone out there with any thoughts as to what might be happening, PLEASE help! My son asks daily if today is the day! Should I prepare to toss them? Any recommendations for what I should not/do next time? (Other than buy a better incubator!)
Coturnix Quail Eggs Not Hatching? Today is the 19th day of incubation for my coturnix eggs. They are 2 days overdue and still no sign of hatching. No movement at all. Last day of turning was day 14. Temperature for the first 14 days was 99.5F, humidity around 65%. Temperature is 99F and humidity is around 70% from day 14 onward. I don't open the incubator. Candled the eggs and 14/15 were developing. Egg 15 was infertile. I got these coturnix eggs from a friend. At last candling (day 14 early morning) no air cell was visible. What is going on? I know the membrane on these guys is tough, but where did I go wrong? Do you think they will ever hatch, or shall I move on with new eggs. GQF Hovabator 1602N is what I am using. Thank you. I will award the 10 points! Thank you for your responses. Today is the 20th day (not the 14th!). From the breeders, I learned Coturnix (Japanese Quail) take 18 days maximum to hatch!! Now, I am receiving conflicting information from one source!! Can someone else verify that it takes 24 days to hatch Coturnix eggs? Thank you.
