Chicken And Wild Rice Casserole Knowledge Base

What are some good side dishes with a Chicken and Wild Rice casserole? The casserole has rice, chicken, sausage, and cream of chicken soup and a few other things. I was going to make this casserole with two sides for some friends. It has a lot of flavor. Do you think a casserole is okay for a small dinner party? One of my friends does not like most vegetables so it can be tricky with sides.

Does Anyone Have Tesco's Chicken & Bacon Casserole - Recipe on a Card from 1994 approx? I picked up a recipe card years ago in Tesco in the UK - it was a wonderful recipe and I had the card for years - I've now moved to Canada and the recipe got lost - has anyone got a copy of the recipe - from memory it had 4 boneless chicken breasts, chopped back bacon, onions, white wine and it was oven baked, and I think a little cream or creme fraiche went in at the end - I used to serve it with wild rice and a lambs lettuce salad ... I'd really love to have the recipe again as I can't exactly recall the stock measurements or seasonings that went in.

Any ideas for Thanksgiving appetizers? I am cooking a smaller meal this year that will likely consist of a roasted chicken, wild rice pilaf, corn on the cob, asparagus with hollandaise sauce or string bean casserole, steamed baby carrots with butter and ginger, tossed salad, and yeast rolls. The menu is not set in stone yet, but that is the current plan. We normally do not have appetizers for Thanksgiving, but I would like to serve something to tide people over until dinner is ready this year. The only thing that really comes to mind is stuffed mushrooms. Anyone have any other good ideas for a Thanksgiving appetizer? Thanks!

freezing casseroles and pot pies? Could anyone offer advice on pot pie fillings that freeze well. I would LOVE to add some wild rice to some rather than potatoes, any thoughts on that? Curious if they would reheat dry or no. Trying to make a few freezer meals for a guy who is now alone, plus we could use these as well! So far I have some classic chicken pot pies & turkey pot pies. Also wondering about wraps and freezing those filled with somehting yummy that can be tossed in the oven for a quick meal. was thinking of using chicken, pesto, mushrooms & sundried tomatos as filling, too. Wondering if anyone knows if I could add rice easy enough or has a suggestion for that combo in a pot pie or wrap?? THANK YOU!!! I should elaborate maybe - I don't need help reheating really, I need help with a recipe to make these. I don't use a microwave so they will be reheated in an oven. I am basically making a whole bunch of meals so we may freeze and reheat throughout the month, I am giving some away so any help is appreciated! I will learn as I get thru this yet I would love to give away a few with rice that will reheat nice & moist should I find help with locating a recipe. Thank you :)
