Chicken wings from oven to BBQ? I've always only made wings in the oven or deep fryer. Today we'd like to make them in the oven and transfer them onto the BBQ to grill them a little bit. How do I go about doing that? Do I bake them until they're done and then put them on the BBQ for a few minutes? Or do I bake them half way and put them on the BBQ. I'm new to the whole BBQ stuff so I'm unsure how long to keep them on there for and what heat temp to have them on. Any tips would be great, thanks in advance!

Do you think I should leave the whole wing connected or seperate it for the cook off? Crazy enough....I have plans to participate in a chicken wing on the grill contest. I have already asked for recipe's, but now I have to decide whether to seperate the wing into a drum stick and cut the pointy thing off or leave it whole for the contest. I have never made wings on the grill, so this should be interesting. Should I seperate the wing or leave the whole thing in tact? Suggestions are helpful since I have never done this before.
How do you get hot wing sauce to stick to the hot wings? I bought a bottle of Louisiana Hot Wing Sauce and marinated chicken wings in it for an hour. I added honey, butter and lime. Grilled them on a George Forman grill for around 10 min. Then basted them again and put them in a toaster oven til they were crisping around the outer skin. But, what happens is that all the marinade seems to have disappeared. And there is barley a hint of that tasty wing sauce. Should I add more honey??
Help me dieticians..if I eat one more grilled chicken salad I'll puke? I've been going real stron eating 5-6 high protein low fat meals a day and cardio and weight lifting for about 2 weeks. I'm seeing really good results just in the 2 weeks. I am a male 5'10 and weigh 203 lbs. down from 212 lbs. I have been mainly eating grilled chicken salads and grilled chicken with steamed veggies in each meal. I do 30 minutes intense cardio and then about 2 hrs of weights 3 days on and 1 day off working out different muscle groups. Well it was all peaches and cream eating these meals to start, but now i'm having to force myself to eat them. I splurged today at the end (its my day off) and bought a 12 piece boneless chicken wings in spicy BBQ from Buffalo Wild Wings with ranch dip which I split into 2 different servings.Afterwards I went to Walmart to try and look for some items with low fat high protein and almost all had a lot of calories from fat in them. I detest almost all seafood aside from tuna fish and I dont know any other ways to cook the grilled chicken where I keep the fat calories low and make more of a variety. I'm trying to live a more healthy lifestyle to look and feel good, but I know I can't eat grilled chicken stir fry and salads 6 times a day for the rest of my life. Any thoughtful answers and feedback would be very much appreciated ; >
I cannot get my Weber grill going. Can you give me tips? How much charcoal and how much lighter fuel do I use. How long do I let the coals burn before I slap the wings on? What kind of charcoal and lighter fluid? My grill is a black weber with a grid in the bottom and some kind of metal pan under there and a big round black lid. Hope that helps you to help me figure this thing out. Believe it or not....I am in a contest for chicken wings. They must have been desperate to ask me to participate.

Anyways I wanna somewhat precook them in the oven so it dosent take forever when i'm there. My question is ,should i marinate them before i precook them or marinate them after precooking( or even both)? chicken wings in buttermilk? If i soak wings over nite in buttermilk and seasonings will they taste better on the grill the next day?
Planning a grilled meal and seek guidance? So I will be grilling tomorrow and so far on the list of things I'm making we have pulled pork burgers, buffalo brats, asparagus with tarragon aioli, and a Paula Deen cake. Some additions and changes I am thinking about is adding grilled corn perhaps. I can buy 6 and get 6 for free at my local supermarket and I would serve that with a chipotle lime butter. I have a small grill and corn can take long to grill. So should I just boil my asparagus and not grill them or go without the corn and sub baked beans? I could make grilled chicken wings and have that with the other two meats and corn w/no asparagus. Maybe make a quick salad instead of the asparagus. There are many possibilities for me to decipher. Anyone agree that more meat is always the way to go and one or two sides is plenty?
I need a recipe for Buffalo Wings made on a grill. A real recipe not one found online!!!? I want to make Buffalo Wings on the grill. I can never make chicken right on the grill. Someone Please help. And i want a recipe from experience not from GOOGLE.

marinating chicken before or after cooking? Someone told me to marinade my chicken wings in a plastic food bag after they are cooked on the grill. From what Iv'e seen people usually do it before you cook it. Iv'e tried both and I gotta say that there was more flavor when I marinated the chicken after cooking for about 30 mins by shaking the bag around and letting it sit and absorb the hot sauce and butter mix. How come most others dont use this method?
Looking for a tag line or slogan for a neighborhood sports bar and grill.? I'm trying to get the message across that we have a little bit of everything for everyone. Whether you want to eat chicken wings and watch the big game with the guys....or come in and shoot a game of pool....or sip on a martini with some girlfriends. The point is, the bar should appeal to the masses. It's a little bit of everything for everyone.
Chicken hot wings recipe? I have some franks redhot original sauce mix. I was going to put these on my smoker. The recipe says to cook in an oven, dip in sauce and serve. Anyone ever try these in a smoker? What I mean by my smoker is charcoal/hickory on one side of the grill and the wings on the other side with a bowl of water under it. The charcoal/wood is in the same smoker grill.

How much weight do you think I will lose? I am 5'3" and 180lbs. Trust me, you don't have to tell me I'm obese. The button on my pants tells me every day. Anyways, I've started eating healthier. I'm not going to do a strict diet. I'm just not going to eat junk food and I'm going to make better meal choices. For example, instead of chicken wings and french fries for dinner, I'll have grill chicken and a salad and grilled asparagus. I've also started walking for 30mins. every day. Do you think I will lose weight by doing this? I don't expect to lose a ton of weight very quickly. I do want to see some results though.
Is there a disease with me, or am I just not feeling good? I honestly have no clue. I'm 16, turn 17 in less than two months. Guy, 5'8.5, 138lbs at lightest in the mornings (13.1% body fat or so). I prefer to think I exercise regularly (walk about 2 hours a day unwillingly- my school is huge). I don't get my optimum amount of sleep, only about 5-6 hours a day, but it doesn't seem to matter. I always seem tired, utterly exhausted, never in the mood to just go out and do something physical. In the summer I tried to, for once, get all of the sleep I needed. It didn't work. I slept nearly 11-12 hours a day and it didn't help. I have this mental 'fog', I call it, that is always there, just beyond me. I can barely ever think straight for a long time at once, and it effects me deeply. I'm highly intelligent apparently, as I got extreme high marks on my state graduation testing I took last year, and I've had a upper-college reading level since I took tests in 6th grade- and probably before then too. This block that keeps me from thinking freely is ruining all of it- my grades are getting in the toilet fast, just because I can't think or focus on school work, despite easily grasping the concept I just don't notice the work. My physique, while never being better, is actually turning worse. I can't run more than a minute without being utterly exhausted now, while once at the doctors office when I was 11 I ran for 25 minutes straight at 6 miles an hour with a constantly graduating incline. I feel just down low to the ground, with absolutely no energy. At the same time I have this low headache- usually so insignificant I really don't notice it. Some days it'll peak, and I can't be around any noise at all. Kind of related, my spine feels really weirded out, like it can't move. And it's hypersensitive- poked in the spine makes me scrunch forward, and a water balloon once hit it. To keep it succinct, let's just say I taught my friends around me several new swear words because of the pain. It constantly hurts. My diet is fairly clean- I eat mostly meat more than fruits, vegetables or even water for that instance. Dinner every night has meats, from chicken wings to grilled steak, and my lunches are usually made with a Chik-fil-a chicken sandwich. I drink sodas maybe once a week, sometimes once every few weeks. Being in Arizona, I drink a lot of water by habit- about 3-4 bottles a day. Not enough, as it is, but that's the best I can do, seeing as it costs a dollar a bottle and the fountains suck. The few things I have been diagnosed with are ADD, and chronic urticaria. The ADD wasn't caught by anyone for years, until only about 6 months ago I connected the dots in my behavior myself. The chronic urticaria I have no clue, nor does anyone else, how it got started. If you don't know, imagine being allergic to a bee so that, when stung, you swell and develop red hives, or large round bumps, on your whole body. Then imagine having a constant reaction to it for 5 years. And being constantly on benadril for the first half of it. Yeah... Is there any obvious disease or something wrong with me? Or do I just not feel good usually? I've had most of the symptoms for years, but some are newer.
Can I eat whatever now and then? Ok my old diet was like chips, cod fried, indian food, LOTS OF rice, pasta, icecream, burgers, chicken wings, pizza, garlic bread, coke, crisps, chocolate everyday and what not. Sometimes I had 1000 calories a day sometimes 3000 calories but the foods I ate had A LOT OF FAT AND CARBS and I NEVER did exercise Now I am eating 1500-1700 calories (depending on length and intensity of exercise) Doing 2 hours of exercise on 3 days (cardio and strength) and 3 hours of cardio on the other 3 days...and 1 day rest. (Totalling 9 hours exercise a week...I do p90x vids and tae bo) I eat foods like- cottage cheese, skinless grilled chicken, vegetables, tuna, salmon, wholegrain bread, eggs, types of beans, legumes, lentils etc. And now drink water and skimmed milk only- Following a 40/40/20 ratio of carbs/protein/fat But what if once a week (at first) I ate like my old diet? Then slowly do decrease than to once every 2 weeks? Will it affect my diet? Btw my aim is to LOSE FAT
Advice on dieting and losing weight? I have always been chubby.? OK, I am 22 years old, Im a size 16, i am five four,, and I weigh 200 lbs. I want to lose eighty lbs. I have went on Atkins before and i was very successful, I lost 40 lbs in a month (then i gained it back when I went off it). This is the thing, the biggest thing on me is my stomach. I have always been muscular all over but my belly is not proportional to the rest of me. People come up to me on a regular basis and ask me if I am pregnant or how far along I am. (they ask me this seriously). I have always been a little bit chubby and in the past four years I've put on a extra twenty lbs, and now I am a whopping 200 lbs. I live on a 3rd floor apartment and by the time i get up the stairs to my apartment I am trying to catch my breath. I am way too young to be feeling this way and I know I need to lose the weight. I know that permanent weight loss has to do w/real change, change you can actually do, like no crazy starvation diets or anything like that. Here is what I know about weight loss: Stop eating at 7 or 8 pm. Drink water. Exercise half an hour a day. (?) Cut out fried foods/salty foods/sweets Eat slowly and drink lots of water in between bites. thats pretty much what i know. there are all kinds of horrible diseases that run in my family, like diabetes, colon cancer, high blood pressure, etc, and I want to avoid them, and I know I'll be more successful in doing that if I just lose this extra weight. the weight im supposed to be for my age and heighth, is 140 lbs. i just want to be healthy, really. I want to be able to take a run and not fall out on the ground gasping. I also feel like guys dont look at me b/c I am fat, b/c of my gut. Its like whatever I eat seems to go right to my gut. I also have extremely large breasts, a big butt, and I could lose some off my inner thighs. Most people only guess that i weigh around 160, but I really want to lose this weight. So my question, what is a good way to go to lose weight? I was thinking about eating only salad, grilled chicken, and vegtables and fruits. Honestly Ive always had a distorted image of what food should be. I started binging a few years ago and Ive never stopped, like i will go into the kitchen and eat and eat and eat. I dont throw it up, but I am definitely not hungry while I am having this eating fests. I have an oral fixation, its like i always have to have something in my mouth or something to drink or chew, like gum or candy. I really thought that by age 22 Id have lost this baby weight. I appreciate any advice you all have for me. and one more thing, I feel like i gained the last twenty lbs of this weight by eating fast food all the time. ive been w/my boyfriend four years and he goes out to eat 3 times a day everyday. Now we hardly ever go out to eat, we eat in all the time, a lot of Stoffers Lasagna dinners, chicken wings, pizza, browinies, soda, hamburgers and hot dogs. I know this diet is terrible and obiviously not working. Is it unrealistic to make a goal to lose 100 lbs? for my heighth? I am 5 4.
I need thinner upper arms, please help? I'm so frustrated I don't know what to do anymore. I used to weigh 118lbs and be a model. While I was never super thin, I had nice curves and a good body. I had a bad breakup when I was 25 and my doctor put me on Celexa for depression. After a week on that I felt great, I got a full time job and didn't really have time for modeling anymore. Before I knew it I had gained over 30lbs in my stomach, thighs, and arms. I didn't even notice till I saw a recent picture of myself. I went to a formal dance last month and when I looked in the mirror at home I thought I looked gorgeous. But the professional photographer who photographed the event put the pictures online, and when I saw myself I cried. My arms were huge and i had a double chin. I'm almost laughing as I write this because it sounds rediculous, but it's happening to me. I've quit the celexa and worked out like crazy for over 2 months. I've cut my calories to 1500, i only eat fruits and veggies and grilled chicken and drink water. I still cant lose any weight and i'm most emberassed about my arms. I can hide the tummy and legs, but my arms have gotten huge. I've been using resistance tubing and while my arms seem more toned, they are still wide. I can't even fit them into most jackets anymore. I'm emberassed and depressed. I want to lose weight all over but especially I want thin arms. My trainer said not to use heavy weights cuz that will bulk me up, but nothing seems to be working. I also have bad knees from rowing in highschool and was told not to run because I may need knee surgery, I use bikes and elipticals instead. I also do what I call reverse push-ups to tone the "chicken wings" under my arms. Its just that nothing seems to work and I don't wanna be overweight like this. I've always taken great care of my body and didn't even notice it had gotten this out of hand. Guys don't look at me anymore, i'm depressed, and i feel disgusting, please help.

Chicken wings found in fridge 2 days past best-before date: still safe to cook & eat? 2 mins in micro > grill? Chicken wings found in fridge 2 days past best-before date: still safe to cook & eat? 2 mins in micro then brown under grill? I'll start to cook @3pm: I'm ex-martial arts & have done that kinda thing before: got economy size packs & used most of 'em in recommended time & finished em 2 days after best before .. date & it's never made me ill But what do you guys think? Han Solo! Tis I: Luke Skywalker's long lost bro' >> Puke Skywalker LOL I checked at 3pm & there were no replies, so I turned da grill on, having put da 4 wings on da grill pan before typing da question I turned 'em over @ 3.06 & one was slightly bbrown on the joint that stuck up highest My rule of thumb guess-ometer is to turn 'em over again right now Haha I just typed a detailed progress report, then accidental;ly hit a key that deleted it all Full points toall who said to smell 'em I also examined all 4 with my big corded nagnifying glass & there was no sign of discolouration on any of the 4 I'll turn 'em over again @ 3.30 I posted the question because mydear old ma very wisely encouraged me to experiment & to see any recipe as a guide only Put it this way: between college days & in between marriages, I musta had @ 15/16 years experience of living solo I've never ever had to throw any of my cooking away Flavour it w3ith sauces, herbs & spices, yes Put it back in a micro for extra time, yes But I just have a gut instinct that the 'nanny' state has produced over cautiuon bordering on - if not crossing the line of - paranoia, yes? Right after I do this 2nd turnover, I'll post that last bit as a separate question & link it, OK? Right back >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi *9 reply I'll read it as soon as I post this promised link to that much more general & fascinating question, which I hope y'all will circularise round any family & friends who are scared of cooking:- http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090302073713AADwNlT OK guys The hidden PC aka the human brain computed to turn 'em over again @ 3.45 I'll put a mix of Cajun & Jamaica Jerk herbs on the upwards side What combo of spices/herbs do ya recpmmend on the final turn @ 4pm? Sprinkling on that combo remindedme of the many recipes I've seen with precise weights & measures of each ingredient I'm trying to keep my face straight here, but I have never used kitchen scales in my life I also never use the oven, as it's so much easier to open up the grill & see progress than to bend down to an oven Also, that trick I usually do with meat is to visuall guage its thickness, then put it in the microwave for 2/3 minutes befor browning it under the grill The progress report thatr I said got accidentally deleted told ya that my butcher is @ 3rd generation in the biz He told me the 1st summer I was in Boootle that I cook more regularly than many women do: so many folk only buy convenience packets, etc, yes? Maybe it's partly cuz I can see my TV perfectly while I cook, but I just love cooking OH - before I do that final turnover, he did confirm my practice of microwavew forst then brown under the grill That combo of herbs/spices @ the final turnover Hey girls Ya shoulda smelt the delicious aroma that told me it was time for the final turn - almost eactly the time anticipated The combo I had in mind for the final turn was Chinese & Thai spices It aint da 1st time I've used that foursome, 2 on one side & 2 on the other My grill is about 16 feet away from my PC chair I never have to bob up & down every 2/3 minutes I did when I first lived alone, to make sure, but as ya build up experience & confidence, ya know ya can trust ya nose to tell ya when it's ready I'd say @ 3/4 more minutes till a mouthwatering chicken feast that will virtually fall off the bone I forgot to say that I spotted Raven Wing was joking Some of this, I'll transfer over to that general question The more I think @ it, the more I'm remonded of several eadio & TV discussions about why we 'baby boomers' are better & more successful risk takers I always did love flying by the seat of my pants Vision of holidaymakers googling that ?? Girls That was so delicious, I just fired up the grill & put the final 4 wings on Now spices & herbs >> Do you buy the tyrpes I do - with colour coded lids, so ya know what's most likely to go together? Yes: I'll post this to that specific question: I just thought it fair to compose this part here, having initiated the last edit over there Anyone else use the same herbs & spices on fish as ya do on chicken? I did the 1st turn on batch 2 @ 4.46 They are all slightly thicker than the 1st batch, so I put the ela#ectric grill on 3.5 instead of 3, for this first round When I do the 3rd turn @ 5pm, I'll turn grill down to 3 again, as I'm in no rush & slow 'n' easy is often best, yes? Besides, I'm jkust enjoying the Jason Upton gig @ Sky *580 AH: I was gonna say that I have 24 herbs/spices arranged in colourt groups I'm gionna use a different combo of 4 on this final batch & I honestly aint decided this time Any recommendations? I'll just post link WOW On that first turnover, all wings were a lovely golden colour So, @ 5.30, I'll turn again & put 2 herbs/spices on Then 2 others on the final turn when my nose tells me What combo do ya suggest? OK .. I decided on ground cumin & ground pepper on 1st side Ground coriander & Mild Curry Powder on 2nd side I'll just turn grill off >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Can I just very quickly share the real secret of such culinary success? One word >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Prayer I always talk to God while I shop & as I cook He cares about every detail of your life He counts the very hairs on yoiur head "He cares about people far more than he does about the birds of the air & the lilies of the field" As Jesus said Time to eat now Later on - @ 9ish - I'll make salad butties for my veg ration I always have fruit in stock for snacks & nuts "No >> Don't laff Titter ye not Oh >> Please yaselves !!" LOL
Is it okay to eat wings at Timmy Chan's or Frenchy's with my platinum & diamond grill? I don't want to get chicken caught in my grill, I mean my mouth is like the thing that sank the Titanic. I don't want to have chicken wings and crumbs between my white and blue princess cut diamonds.
Looking for a recipe for chicken wings? I am not really into wings that you bake or fry than soak in sauce (unless it's really unique). I am open to grill, crock pot, oven, or stove top recipes. Just sick of the ordinary buffalo and bbq wings.

Chicken Wrap? I had a chicken wrap from buffalo wild wings (grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese :( in a floured tortilla) My only real concern is the tortilla, even though I do have slight concerns about the cheese as well. I ate a bowl of total with skim milk for breakfast. When I exercise (for an hour daily) I burn off no less than 720 calories and I have yet to do so for the day. I was wondering if after exercise I should just eat fruit to ensure no excess calories for the day. What do you think?

Any rough ideas on how many calories i had for lunch?
Anyone know how to make chicken in Krups panini maker? I have a Krups PG7000 Panini maker. It came with a recipe booklet that had instructions on grilling chicken breast using the machine. I can't find my recipe book and don't know what temp setting or how long to cook. I tried to wing it the other day and I overcooked the chicken.... but not sure if too hot or too long. I think it will make nice chicken for sandwiches and salads if I can figure it out.
Which one is the worst fatty food? A slice thin crust pizza with light cheese, pineapple, and grilled chicken (Dominos) vs. chicken wings from WingStop? Calories? chicken - it has skin on it and not fried.
What is wrong with me? I get really sick right after I eat, and it doesn't matter what it is, like today i ate a chicken wing and mashed potatoes for lunch and got sick and then for dinner i ate a small grilled chicken wrap from Sonic, and im sick to my stomach again. I have had my tubes tied/clipped and burnt and can't get pregnant. Plus I have been feeling really bad, like my body is just drained. I get plenty of rest so idk. i had the procedure done 17yrs ago so that can't be it

Help me name our restaurant/bar..? My brother and I just purchased a restaurant/bar in a very busy area near a college. We are going to go with a retro theme. Our building is a 2 story with exposed brick in the inside and outside, big window in the front. Our menu will be classic american. Our menu will have gourmet burgers, grilled chicken sandwichs, wings, fish and chips. Classic pub food with some higher end entrees, cilantro lime shrimp, grilled ribeyes. Lots of cold domestic, import and micro brews. My brother and I are big guys that like to get out and talk to people, we care about our product and always looking to make it better. We started as a catering business, actually the catering business started as a tailgating business. Our business is in the heart of a business downtown area that is home to a small college. We want our business to family friendly, a place were you can bring the kids but also a spot to come have a burger, drink a few beers and watch the game. Develop a local hangout. Names?

Wakerswood Traditional Jamaican jerk seasoning? I picked up this item (it's a paste)up from a carribean grocery store and I'm going to use it to marinate chicken wings overnight and then grill them tomorrow. It seems to be kinda spicy. Is there anything else I should use to add to the flavor? I don't want it to be too spicy. I don't mind it being spicy just not XTRA hot. Not sure if I should add something else to add to the flavor.
Help! I"m so sick of Chicken!!!? I need some new ways to spice up Chicken, legs wings and breast's are all available (not all at once I"m on a budget here) I grill, fry and bake them all, but I need new ideas for recipes (Sp) anyone? mult recipies will result in best answer worthiness.
My dog ate a chicken bone.? My dog just grabbed and ate (I'm not sure if it was whole or if he chewed it up) a chicken bone (just one from a broiled/grilled wing) out of the garbage. Please don't lecture me on how bad this is, I REALIZE it is bad and I know they aren't supposed to have cooked chicken bones. It was an accident. What I want to know is, what are the statistics on when dogs eat a cooked chicken bone - how many live without vet's help. I do not have the money for emergency care. Is there anything I can do for him?? He is an 86 pound lab mix and has eaten an avocado and a large piece of chocolate cake before with no bad effects.
