How Do I Keep My Chicken Wings From Sticking? I like to bake my chicken wings (buffalo style) in my oven but I can't seem to find the right type of material to keep them from sticking to the baking sheet. I've tried a regular baking sheet with no luck, then used tin foil and they still stuck, and finally I placed waxed paper on top of the baking sheet and not only did that not work but I began to smoke out my entire kitchen. Can anyone tell what I can do?

How to bake chicken wings...? We are having a party at our house on Saturday, and I purchased a 10 pound bag of chicken wings to make as an appetizer. I already have a very tasty BBQ sauce, I'm just wondering what the easiest way to make the chicken wings would be and how early I can make them and keep them warm for the party. I want to bake them in the oven, because I figured that would be the easiest. So, do I put the BBQ sauce on before or after baking the wings? What temp. and how long would I bake the wings? Any other suggestions are welcome!!! Thanks!! I have a roaster, a crockpot, and a large buffet server to keep them warm. Which one would be best, and how far ahead of time can I cook them? I also have been reading some things about having to "split" the chicken wings with a knife...what's that all about?? I actually do know how to cook, I swear...just not chicken wings!! : ) Thanks for the answers so far, very helpful!
How do I make baked chicken wings? I would like a recipe for baked chicken wings. I don't want to use any sauce on them. I just want to cook the chicken with only seasonings. The only recipes I can find are for chicken wings with sauce on them. I tried baking chicken wings with seasonings before, but I they were soft, the spices drizzled off the chicken into the pan, and the chicken looked too white. I want the chicken to be kind of crispy and would like to know what kind of seasonings I should use. Also please let me know if I should cook the chicken covered or uncovered. (I usually cover it) Please help me. Thank you. :)
Black ooze coming out of baked chicken wings? I have tried baking chicken wings many time. Sometimes I marinate sometimes I season and sometimes I just throw on some salt and pepper. I usually buy the packaged bulk drumstricks from my local costco but I have tried wings and drumsticks from other grocers. When I bake them, a black ooze starts seeping out from the chicken wings. I find this very unappetizing. When I get chicken in a restaurant, it isn't seeping any ooze black or otherwise so whats going on here? I usually bake between 350-425 depending on the recipe. I even made an indian curry in a dutch oven using the dum method with drumsticks and had the same problem. I hate this ooze. I don't want to eat it or anything that it is coming out of. What is it? Why is it there? Is there anything I need to do to stop it?
How do you bake chicken with crispy or firm skin? I can be inconsistent when it comes to baking chicken sometimes. I hate it when I bake chicken wings and the skin remains somewhat soft and fatty-like, despite the fact that its baked thoroughly and seasoned/flavored well. How do you firm or crisp the skin when baking chicken? please keep in mind that I am referring to crispy BAKED/BROILED chicken and not fried or breaded chicken.
Does Domino's fry or bake their chicken wings? Hello, I am planning on cooking wings tonight. I really enjoy Domino's wings and I am trying to make some that taste similar. Does anyone know how Domino's cooks their wings? I was wondering if they baked, grilled, or fried their wings. Thanks.
Love buffalo chicken wings, want a better recipe? So when I make buffalo wings I simply spice up the chicken, bake or fry and toss in some room temp sauce such as Frank's. Here is the problem, when I go to restaurants and order wings they are never super runny and the sauce seems to be more of a thick coating. I have feeling what I'm missing is some type of breading or perhaps marination, but as much as I love the sauce itself, I hate that it just runs of the chicken! Any suggestions for how to make my sauce thicken and stick?
Chicken wings sides?? I am making baked chicken wings for dinner tonight. I don't know what to serve with them. I would like anything but baked beans.

Is baked chicken wings fattening? I'm trying to get my 6 pack. However, I noticed that when I bake my chicken wings. I notice some fat in the Pyrex dish after the chicken is removed from the Pyrex glass dish after I bake it. Is this what is ruining my 6pack? My sugar amount is low and so is my carb amount. I've been eating brown rice(small portion) and baked chicken wings, and occasionally with it canned mustard greens. I've been losing inches off from my stomach. I have lost 4 inches off of my stomach. I do a lot of cardio I've lost 20 pounds since I've been doing this. However, I notice that I have a feeling I could progress more if I didn't eat the baked chicken wings. By the way, I do eat the skin of the chicken wings. I have a 39 inch stomach at first I had a 43 inch stomach when using measuring tape around my stomach evenly lined around the navel area.

Can I bake chicken wings that have already been covering in bbq sauce? I bought chicken wings and placed the wings in a ziploc bag. Then I added bbq sauce to the bag to marinate wings and transfered the bag to the freezer for future dinner. When I take out the bag to defrost in the fridge, can I just bake the sauced up wings in the oven, or do I need to add bread crumbs or cornstarch? Was it a bad idea to freeze the wings with the bbq on? First time making chicken wings from scratch-not already cooked and frozen in box. Thanks.
I have a frozen bag of chicken wings that I am trying to cook in a crock pot ...? I want to slow-cook the wings in my crock pot for tomorrow night's game. I have a recipe for a sauce but I'm not certain how I should go about doing this. Do I need to bake the wings in the oven first and then place them in the crock pot with the sauce? They are frozen but not cooked. The directions on the bag tell you to baste the frozen wings, bake on one side for 20 minutes, then flip them, baste them again, and bake for 20 minutes. I don't want them to fall apart or get too soggy in my crockpot so I'm not sure if I should bake them and then slow cook them, put them in unbaked and frozen, or defrost them and put them in unbaked. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!
Baking chicken...what temperature? A friend of mine quickly told me a recipe the other day (we are all newly married and time is of the essence haha!). Anyway, she said to put chicken legs/wings in a baking dish and pour about 1 cup of italian dressing over it. She said to cook it for about 45 minutes (or until juices run clear..) My question is, what temperature would I cook this at to ensure tenderness??? Thanks!!! =)

Has anyone here ever fried chicken wings in a turkey fryer? If so, how did they turn out? I have a big bag of frozen wings that I am going to either bake, slow cook in a crock pot, or fry in a turkey fryer. If you fried them, did you defrost them first? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Chicken wings from oven to BBQ? I've always only made wings in the oven or deep fryer. Today we'd like to make them in the oven and transfer them onto the BBQ to grill them a little bit. How do I go about doing that? Do I bake them until they're done and then put them on the BBQ for a few minutes? Or do I bake them half way and put them on the BBQ. I'm new to the whole BBQ stuff so I'm unsure how long to keep them on there for and what heat temp to have them on. Any tips would be great, thanks in advance!
Improving my honey soy chicken wings? I'm a beginner in cooking, and I oven baked honey soy chicken wings yesterday. It is lacking in taste, even though I overused the ingredients in marinating it. I used honey, soy sauce, garlic, a little bit of ginger, and olive oil. How can I make it more tasty? I read one of the questions regarding honey soy chicken, and one of the answers is to sear it on a pan and deglaze it before putting it to the oven and bake at 350F. Can anyone teach me how to sear and deglaze? I've marinated the day before and put in the fridge overnight.
Chicken wings = healthy? So I've always heard bad things about chicken wings from restaurants, but me, I make them myself.
