i need some great recipes using chicken breast and rice. can you give me some good websites i can look at.?

i cooking tonight and im cooking steaks, mashed potatoes,and for some reason i got a taste for some chicken breast. do you have any good websites i can visit, using chicken breast and rice. thanks

  5. my mom makes a caserole type dish. she starts with white rice in a caserole dish, places baked chicken on top and covers it with cream of chicken, kind of like a gravy for the chicken and rice. its really good.
  6. Below is one of my favorite recipes. It's changeable, chicken breasts or hamburger. I've had a few friends tell me they've even used pork pieces or lamb pieces. Enjoy! Hamburger or Chicken Casserole 1 lb lean ground beef, 15% fat is best, or ground chuck OR 2-3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 boxes Rice-a-Roni, 1 box broccoli au gratin (6.5 oz size), 1 box rice pilaf or chicken broccoli flavor (use this flavor only when using chicken) (7.2 oz size) 4 oz of Velveeta cheese, cubed or chunked Prepare Rice-a-Roni flavors according to directions, using extreme care to measure the water exactly. Reduce cooking time to 15 minutes. When done, rice will look sort of wet. Remove from heat & add Velveeta cubes or chunks. Carefully push Velveeta cubes or chunks into the hot rice with your fingers or use the back of a spoon. Cover to allow Velveeta to melt. If using hamburger, fry with fresh red, white or brown onion. Minced can be substituted. Flavor hamburger with garlic powder, black pepper & seasoned salt to taste. Use seasoned salt with care. Too much will make this dish salty (the seasoning from the rice-a-roni has salt in it). If using chicken, bake in oven, seasoning the top of the chicken breasts only. Cut chicken into small pieces or chunks. Add hamburger or chicken to rice, stirring well. Serve with your favorite vegetable or salad. Total cook & prep time, 1 hour. More time is needed if chicken or hamburger is frozen. When I make this with chicken, I send them through the defrost cycle on the microwave, then bake for 40-50 minutes. While it’s baking, I prepare the rice. If I’m using hamburger, I cook the rice first.

Baked Chicken Breasts and Rice 1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice (not instant) 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 cup sherry wine 1/2 cup slivered almonds 8 chicken breasts 1/2 cup butter, melted salt parmesan cheese paprika 1. Wash and dry chicken breasts. 2. Place the uncooked rice in the bottom of a 9X11 baking pan. 3. Mix soups, sherry and butter together and pour a little over the rice to moisten it. 4. Salt the chicken breasts and place the salted chicken breasts on the rice. 5. (It is okay if they overlap some). 6. Pour the rest of the liquid on the breasts. 7. Sprinkle parmesan cheese, almonds and paprika on top. 8. Note: Do not add any moisture to the soups. 9. The only liquid is the wine. 10. Bake 2 1/2 hours uncovered at 275 degrees.
