Looking for a good chicken wings recipe?

Had them at a restaurant that used a combination of bbq and mustard sauce...they were incredible.

  2. I think you just answered your own question! LOL! Any-hoo this is how I make them: Cut the wings at loints and discard tips. Season liberally with seasoned salt pepper and garlic. Bake at 400F. for one hour, turning half way through for even crispiness. For the sauce: 1/2 cup Franks' Red hot sauce (Here you would substitute your favorite BBQ sauce) 2 tablespoons butter 4 tablespoons yellow mustard LOTS of garlic powder. Combine ingredients and simmer on the stove until hot. Dip the wings and toss to coat. Now, you can either eat them as they are or put them under the broiler for a few minutes if you want the sauce to "crisp" a bit. I personally like them messy! Hope this helps!

BBQ CHICKEN WINGS 24 chicken wings Vegetable oil 1/4 c. lime juice 3 tbsp. soy sauce 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 2 c. ketchup 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. hickory seasoning Remove tips from chicken wings and cut remaining pieces in half. Brush with a small amount of vegetable oil and bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 1/2 hour. Combine lime juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, dry mustard, ketchup, garlic powder and hickory seasoning. Pour over chicken wings after they have baked for 30 minutes. Continue baking for another 30 minutes. Place under broiler for a few minutes before serving. BBQ wings may be prepared the day before serving, covered and refrigerated. Reheat for 5 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. OR BBQ CHICKEN WINGS 3 lb. chicken wings 1/2 c. vinegar 1 c. brown sugar, packed 1 c. catsup 2 tbsp. flour 2 tsp. celery salt 1 tsp. ground cloves 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 cloves garlic or more to taste Place wings in a single layer in a greased baking pan. Combine vinegar, sugar, catsup, flour, celery salt, cloves, and mustard in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; simmer until smooth. Pour over chicken wings. Marinate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours, covered for first hour. JM
