Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken?
I would like to make bbq chicken in my crock pot/slow cooker. Earlier this week I tried a whole chicken + 1 bottle bbq sauce and it was gross. All the slimy, ooey, gooey parts were floating everywhere. What would be a good recipe using boneless chicken breasts or legs instead?

- Try this CROCK POT BARBECUED CHICKEN 1/4 c. water 3 tbsp. catsup 3 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. lemon juice 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 (2 1/2 or 3 lb.) chicken Combine water, catsup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, butter and seasoning in a saucepan; heat to boiling. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Place chicken in the crock pot and pour sauce over it. Cook slowly overnight or on high for 6 to 7 hours. This barbecue sauce can also be used with pork and beef.

- Now I haven't tried this yet, but my friend who can cook will season her parts with whatever you like, she uses seasoned salt, garlic powder , oregeno and pepper and then pours a whole bottle of bbq sauce over the chicken parts. No water. Thats what amazed me, that she doesn't use water. She uses breasts and wings though, so maybe this is where the greasiness comes in, usually the dark meat contains more fat and oil. Have a great night!
- Get a pick of the chick from wally,Season the pieces well with Tony's, add some hot sauce and a coke. Set that crock pot on low. Let it kick all day. Serve with loaf of white bread and plenty cold brew.
