Good crockpot chicken recipe?
I have skinless, boneless chicken breasts and I would like to cook them in a crockpot. Anybody have any good recipes?

- Ingredients: 1 pound boneless chicken thighs, skin removed, or 4 chicken leg quarters, skin removed 1/2 cup chopped onionn 1/2 cup sliced ripe olives 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 can (14.5-ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained 1/4 cup cold water or chicken broth 1 tablespoon cornstarch Preparation: Place chicken in 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Top with chopped onion and sliced olives. Sprinkle with oregano, salt, rosemary and garlic powder. Pour tomatoes over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours, or until chicken is fork tender and juices run clear. With slotted spoon, remove chicken and vegetables to a warm serving platter. Cover with foil and keep warm. Increase crockpot to HIGH heat setting. In cup or small bowl, combine water and cornstarch; stir until smooth. Stir into liquids in the crockpot. Cook until thickened. Serve thickened juices with chicken. Serves 4. I included some websites for additional recipes
- This is so easy and so good! Layer the chicken in the crock pot and sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper (or whatever spices you like). I throw in some fresh herbs from the garden, too, like rosemary or thyme. Whisk together a can of cream of mushroom soup and a cup of white wine and pour that mixture over the chicken. Cook on low all day or on high for about 4 hours. Take the chicken out and put on a plate. Whisk a cup of sour cream into the mixture in the crock pot and then put the chicken back in. Give it about 15 minutes to 1/2 hour to warm back up to temperature, then serve over rice or egg noodles. I made this for a surprise party and EVERYONE was asking for the recipe! I hope you enjoy it! =)
- Suggestions: Crock Pot Recipes: Cola Chicken 1 family size package chicken wings (or any chicken pieces) 2 cup catsup 2 - 12oz. can cola (pepsi, coke, etc.) 2- packages McCormicks Buffalo wings seasoning Put chicken in a non-stick pan. Mix together catsup and cola, seasoning….pour over chicken. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat…cover with lid..and cook 45 minutes. (turning chicken a few times, while cooking...to prevent from sticking to pan) Cook until the sauce becomes thick and adheres to the chicken. It turns into the most incredible BBQ sauce. Yummmm! I used the spices from a MILD (I don't care for "HOT") Buffalo Wings packet...(the kind you get to bake in the oven).....I thought it was really good.....(but you/I can't find a 'bad' way to fix chicken). This recipe is doubled…..for my husband and myself…I use ½ the ingredients. You can double…the double….and more as you like. BBQ Ribs Use the same method (Cola Chicken)….leave out McCormicks seasoning. Ribs & Chicken wings both good…..and……‘s I m p l e’…..to fix…!! Mushroom Chicken 4 chicken breast 1 can cream of mushroom soup water Mix a can of cream of mushroom soup with can of water. Place chicken in crock pot. Pour soup over chicken and cook on medium ....4-5 hours....or until desired doneness.
