We used to cook eggs of poultry. So how can we prepare a meal from duck eggs?
Is it the same as we do for eggs from poultry?

- You can do all sorts of things. There are lots of people that use all sorts of eggs, quail, duck etc. I would imagine anything you can do with a chicken egg you can do with a duck.
- I used to buy duck eggs when I lived on Long Island. Duck eggs are very rich compared to chicken eggs and require a bit more thought as far as the preparation goes. If you have any sensitivity to eggs the duck variety will increase that sensitivity. The cholesterol and fat content is a lot higher than chicken eggs. They are also larger so quantity will be a factor. Generally you can prepare the same meals with the duck eggs as long as you understand the differences in flavor and content. See this link for more info on egg types. http://www.hormel.com/templates/knowledge/knowledge.asp?catitemid=2&id=187
- I have raised a lot of birds...chickens, turkeys, quail, ducks.....and have eaten all of their eggs. Use them exactly as you would any other egg.
- you can eat any kind of bird eggs, some are smaller, and some are bigger, some have a stronger taste, and some not when scrambled or fried, baking, they are the same,
