anyone have a good crockpot recipe for chicken?

  1. CROCKPOT CHICKEN 1 chicken or any parts 12 oz. fruit juice 1/3 c. prepared mustard 1/3 c. brown sugar or less 2 tbsp. soy sauce 3/4 c. catsup Put cut up chicken in crockpot. Mix other ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook 8 to 10 hours on low. Pear juice is good to use.
  2. I use a 5 lb. roaster chicken. Clean it, season it with salt, pepper, rosemary, and parsley. Then I add one can of chicken broth to the pot with baby carrots and celery. Cook it on high for 5 hours. It's really good. I also take everything out at the end and then add cooked egg noodles to the broth. Then you have chicken and noodles. Very good comfort food.

Country Chicken and Mushrooms INGREDIENTS: 1 jar country gravy 4 to 6 chicken breasts 8 ounces sliced mushrooms salt and pepper to taste PREPARATION: Combine all ingredients; cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours. Serve with rice or noodles. Serves 4 to 6. Pizza Chicken . Even though it cooks in your crockpot, it only cooks for 4-5 hours, so you can start it in the afternoon. INGREDIENTS: 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 onion, chopped 2 bell peppers, cut into 1" pieces 2 cups pasta sauce 1 cup shredded pizza cheese PREPARATION: Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and place in a 3-4 quart crockpot. Top with onions and bell peppers and pour pasta sauce over all. Cover crockpot and cook on low 4-5 hours until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Stir well, then sprinkle with cheese and let stand 5 minutes to melt cheese. Serve over cooked pasta or rice. 8 servings Spanish Crockpot Chicken You can use ordinary Italian sausages instead of the turkey sausages in this excellent dish, if you wish. Saute them until brown in a skillet before adding them to the crockpot if you use pork sausages. Use kalamata or other more exotic olives for a more intense olive taste. INGREDIENTS: 1 onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 lb. Italian sausages, cut into 1" pieces 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2" pieces 28 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained 6 oz. can tomato paste 1 cup chicken broth 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped 14 oz. can artichoke hearts (NOT marinated), drained 4 oz. can kalamata olives, drained 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning PREPARATION: In a 3-4 quart crockpot, mix all ingredients except for the bell peppers, artichoke hearts, olives, and Italian seasoning. Cover crockpot and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until sausages and chicken are thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center. Add bell peppers, artichoke hearts, olives, and Italian seasoning, and cook for 20-30 more minutes on HIGH. Serve with cooked noodles or rice. Serves 6-8 Hope you enjoy these. Bon Appetite.
