Chook Me!

Looking for a crockpot recipe?

Does anyone have the recipe for pork chops in the crockpot using chicken & rice soup? It would be nice if it included veggies to make a complete meal in one pot, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  2. Well I am not sure if you areasking can you do all these things together or recipes for each ingrediates... I like to toss my chops in with some BBQ sauce before I leave and when I gte home I have great tender BBQ ready I nuke some frozen corn and some potatoes and I have a meal. southernfood.about.com/library/crock/blcpidx.htm This website boasts lots of recipes to search from. I have also been known to do the chops with some seasoning, basic whatever you like salt, pepper garlic, paprica, red pepper, etc. With some potatoes peeled and cut in quarters, or red potatoes cut in half and some onion and carrotts. Yummy and chops don't take very long. I would say try the Chic n rice soup with the chops and add some carrotts with salt and pepper. Worse come to worse you'll eat a pizza instead or you might have found something yummy. Just don't add any water to it.
  3. Easy Crock Pot Porkchops 2 carrots, peele and sliced on thin side 1 med onion quatered any other veggies sliced about 1 in thick 6 to 8 lean pork chops, about 1 inch thick 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons salt 1 (10 oz.) can chicken and rice soup or chicken and wild rice soup 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 2 tablespoons vegetable oil PREPARATION: Coat pork chops in mixture of the flour, salt, dry mustard and garlic powder. Brown in hot oil in skillet, turning to brown both sides. Place browned pork chops in crockpot on top of cut veggies. Add chicken and rice soup. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Serves 6 to 8
  4. EASY CHICKEN CHOPS 4 boneless pork chops 2 family size cans Campbell's chicken and rice soup 1 family size can Campbell's cream of chicken soup 1 cup canned mixed veggies 1 tablespoon of minced celery (or 1 tsp. dried celery flakes) Coat pork chops with salt and black pepper. Put them into the crock pot. Add in the celery (or celery flakes). Cover the pork chops with two large cans of chicken and rice soup and cook on high for 2 hours. Reduce heat to medium. Add in the cup of mixed veggies. Mix the large can of cream of chicken soup with 1/3 cup of milk or water and add it to the crock pot, stirring slowly. Continue to cook for about 1 hour. This can be served over additional rice (or the rice can be partially cooked and then added to the crock pot during the last hour if you want to have a thick 'casserole' style dish.) (If you do not want to add the extra rice to the dish and the mixture is a bit 'thin', add a few tablespoons of instant potato flakes to the dish about 10 minutes before cooking is done. The starch will thicken the mixture.)
  5. Ooo I've done that one. Put your pork chops in the crock pot if you want brown then a little first. Dump the chicken and rice soup on top and if you are feeding several people use two cans and if you have a can of mixed veg (VegAll) or peas and carrots drain them and thow them in as well. One pot meal you can season it up with some black pepper and garlic. The soup is salty already so you won't need to add much salt. You may want to add a little water but you won't need much.
