- you can use any recipe in your crock pot
- Hi. I start out with chicken broth you use canned or cubed or cook a whole and use that, whatever you personally like. I cut in onions, and put in salt and pepper. Throw in a bag of frozen peas and carrots, cut up your chicken and cook on low for 5 or 6 hours or more, I put it on while I'm a work. Wait until about 20 minutes before you eat to add the noodles or they will be mushy (ick). I use the curly ones because I like the way they hold up as leftovers. Yumi....then eat up
- I'm assuming you want to make this while you are at work or something along that line. Take a chicken thigh, water, fresh celery thinly sliced, minced onion, salt and pepper, place in crock pot, cook on low all day. Remove chicken from soup to cool, add a small handful frozen peas and carrots or mixed veggies and a small handful of noodle or vermicelli product of your choice (my sis likes the pasta stars or abc's instead of noodles). Chop chicken into small bite-sized pieces, return to soup. Cook until noodles and veggies are done. Enjoy!!
