Simple but tasty crockpot recipe?

Just got a new crock pot. Never used one before. If you know a good chicken/rice recipe that would be great or if you have something more interesting, would love that too. I don't want those 1step crockpot meals from the frozen food section b/c I want to create it myself so any suggestions other than that would be great.

2. I normally but in a beef roast.Cover with water.Add a can of sliced carrots. About 6 beef bounion cubes. One pack of lipton onion soup mix. One onion chopped. Peel some small potatoes. Season with Hamburger seasoning and minced garlic. Cook on low all day.
3. If you do a search under "crockpot recipes" you'll find hundreds, even thousands. Once you start using your crockpot, you'll wonder how you servived without it. One suggestion. When cooking chicken in a crockpot, if you cook it too long it can dry out a bit where with pork and beef, it becomes more tender. good luck
