  1. marinade it in lemon juice, garlic, with some fresh pepper.
  2. marinade in lemon juice, thyme, a pinch of English mustard powder, crushed garlic. Add the salt and pepper only when the chicken is almost ready otherwise it will lose its juices.
  3. A low fat italian dressing always works for me.
  4. lemon juice
  5. try french dressing
  6. play around with mustards (low fat), white and red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, raspberries, and use some fresh herbs.... you have to play around to get a good base but it's fun, you know what is good and what isn't and your food would taste so good having made something yourself.
  7. I wondered if you can have honey? Honey mustard is a really good marinade for bbq'ing meats. Add equal parts honey, dijon mustard and buttermilk. Marinate as long as possible, when you are ready to cook, just be sure to dry off the meat before grilling or it will burn. Then you can dip in honey mustard. The other suggestions for lemon juice, herbs, garlic are great too. For me, I would also add tons of hot sauce to any marinade-lots of flavor with little calories or salt. How about low salt soy with ginger? That would be yummy on chicken or fish. Wine is great to use in marinades too. Red wine for beef, and white wine for chicken and fish.
