how strong is poultry farms businesses today?

1. I don't know about in your area, you'd have to ask local poultry farmers for local numbers, even country-wide isn't reliable. Anyways though in my area it seems to be pretty strong. The newest things are low-cruelty farms. A while ago it got out how bad chickens are treated, and how small their pens were. So now the new thing is free range chickens and eggs, as well as omega3 eggs and naturally grain fed or organic eggs and chicken. So the quality seems to be improving a lot. I notice this because I've been on the lookout in my area. I recently went to a new market and a woman was selling free range eggs $7 or so for a flat. I gladly bought said flat and felt great about it. Give people quality, they buy it.
