What do you think about the "Bird Flu"?
First Mad Cow disease, now Bird Flu. Are you avoiding beef or poultry? Do you think now that Mad Cow is undercontroll, more people are eating beef because of the Bird Flu?

- YOU CAN NOT CATCH BIRDFLUE FROM FOOD! germs and viruses die on 70-something degrees, so provided that you cook your poultry through properly, which you should - birdflue or not, you are safe. i live in a city, so i only have pigeons to watch. i hate those damn rats on wings anyway.
- It sounds pretty scary but the media loves to hype stuff up so I guess it'd be better to watch it's progress cautiously but not react in a frantic or paraniod fashion.
- It will become the next BLack Plague. The Black Plague was the Spanish Flu!
- Personally, I've been avoiding meat, poultry, and fish since 1991...because I'm a vegetarian. Bird flu is being overrated as usual by the media. You cannot catch it by eating dead, properly cooked birds; it is transmitted by live ones.
