How much should laborers be payed to build a chicken coop?

My husband and his friend are building a chicken coop for my husband's boss. The materials were all provided, and the concrete already laid. Even the tools have been provided. All they have to do is the actual construction, there is even an already existing chicken coop for them to copy. What I need to know, is how much should they be paid for the job? Its a fairly extensive structure, 44ft by 16ft, with two windows, a shingled, slanted roof, a door, aluminum siding, and a small insulated room off to the side. They are working an average of 10 hours a day, and we've estimated it will likely take appx 10 days to complete. What is this job worth?

  1. that's just the thing about laborers, it's "negotiable". just remember, if they're illegal and get hurt, "YOU" can be liable. is "THAT" worth it?
  2. It is not a matter of how much it is worth. How much did they negotiate? No negotiation. . . then it is a freebie. Did you husband volunteer to build the coop, or did the boss offer him a job? (Maybe the boss was gonna do it in his spare time)
  3. $500.00 DOLLARS AUSTRALIAN A WEEK FOR EACH PERSON
