Why are egg incubators so expensive?

I have been all over the net looking for an incubator for my hens. But they are way to expensive.

2. They're so expensive because they're not in super high demand. They're not mass produced, so you have a higher cost to build each one resulting in a higher cost to the buyer. Law of supply and demand.
