1. There are several brands and most are very similar. Just make sure it has a thermostat. Do you have a co-op store near you? Or a good farm and home supply. They will be able to help you select the right size etc. Online a good co. is Murray McMurray. They sell egggs, incubators and chicks.
2. by far the best incubator i know off thats cheap and its more for a starter chicken farmer is the hovabator. they sell them on http://www.reptilesupplies.com in the husbandry supply section. you can also find eggs, chicks, and books on http://www.mcmurrayhatcheries.com and strombergs chickens(google it) i hope this helps good luck with your new hobby.
