How can you hatch an egg for outdoors without an incubator?

I found an egg (im not sure the type)in my yard, it couldnt have fallen from a tree it was in the middle of a yard, an animal must have stolen it from a nest it is small, about an inch and a half long and white, it is all intact and i dont have an incubator how can i make it hatch?

  1. well if its still alive you can put it in a plastic box with Cotton float it in a fish tank that is set to 80 deg and wait made sure its a plastic box with a lid where the water wont get in .. this is how we do are dragon eggs and it works better then any thing

  3. put a cross on it then incubate it in the airing cupboard,,,,constant heat... good luck

Really you do need an incubator to keep the egg at the right temp 37.2 celcius and humidity at about 40% plus an eeg needs to be turned reguarly to prevent the bub from sticking to the shell so as you can see its not easy unless you have the gears.Also when bub hatches they need to be kept at a constant temp and be feed special handreaing food for parrots and keets it 2 hourly feeds for 10 days. to start with and with wild birds it can be every 1/2 hour or so.... its a big undertaking with out the right gears and know how
