How long should I wait before I get rid of some unhatched chicken eggs?

At the moment, 2 eggs are on their 24th day in the incubator but does anyone know how long I should wait untill I get rid of them and is there some special way of getting rid of them? This is only the 2nd time I have incubated eggs so I am no expert even though I have always have chickens!!

1. the day before you need to order a gas mask to breath from the stench- trash em
2. I wouldn't wait any longer, just put them in the trash. 21 days is the day to hatch maybe a day earlier or later but your past that.
3. LOL, I would save them for Halloween...
4. well you might of had the temp to low. Candle them and see if they are still developing and living. If they dont then you should throw them out ( far far away from the house ) if they truley are rotten than you should be able to smell a foul stench comming from the eggs. If not then they just might be late developers. HOPE THIS HELPED!!!!!!!!!
