- Have you had a look on Ebay? Or maybe post on Freecycle... ? Good Luck

- Mallard eggs? I don't know where you can probably buy them unhatched. Mallard ducks need just about the same care as any other duck. For the incubator, it could be a plastic storage container with a clamp-on heat lamp on for 24/7.
- Price depends on the type and size of an incubator you need. Depending on how many eggs you are incubating will dictate what size incubator you need. Tractor Supply stores sell a little giant incubator for around fifty dollars. It is a Styrofoam type incubator with a solid state thermostat rather then a wafer. It can hold around 30 to 40 large eggs and many more smaller sized eggs. An automatic turner can be purchased separately for about the same price. I will post a link to Feather site they list many hatcheries and suppliers. There are smaller type incubators but the price is still about the same. I have an use the little giant brand incubator several times every year. I have maintain a 80% hatch rate using it. For the money it's the best I have found. Several hatcheries offer Hova-bator or the Little giant, both work but as I mentioned I have had better results with the one I have. It is possible to make your own incubator, in the end to do it probably will cost about the same as just buying one. I have found and other breeders I know have had better results hatching ducks by manually turning the eggs rather then using a turner. This doesn't seem to be much of an issue with much larger incubators, but large incubators aren't cheap. With wild mallards you can also increase your hatch rate by allowing the hen to incubate the eggs for the first 2 weeks. Not sure how long you have been a breeder, best of luck. I raise mandarins.
- Try ebay or some of the pet classifieds websites.
- The cheapest way would be some old towels, a cardboard box, and an incubator light (I think it's just a 100 watt lightbulb but I'm not sure). I don't know much about mallards I'm afraid - I'm a chicken person.
- i got mine off ebay about £60 got eggs on there aswell
