2. On average one of every 2 eggs is supposed to be a male so 1:2 I guess or 50% but it doesn't always work out like that.
3. If you look at the breeding records for battery farms, you will find that more roosters are killed at birth, each day than there are hens that hatch out. Usually births are based on a ratio of roosters 65 to hens being 35. The breeding and sex depends on the breed but generally its males outweigh the females.
