Chook Me!

Got any tips for using a heating pad ?

Well...here I go again... I've tried using a heating pad to incubate pigeon eggs my friend has given me, my first tries haven't been sucessful. But now that I've done research on it, I made a homemade incubator, I've tested it out but not NOT on a fertile egg. Anyone got any tips they wanna throw at me? I really want my next try to work!

  1. Put them in an aquarium with no water and leave the light on to keep them warm.
  2. i hope you read up on the egg too - not just the incubator. all birds have slightly different temperatures... slightly different needs in whether you turn the egg around every few hours or not... a lot even vary in what temperatures the egg needs to be over the time it is incubated. my advice - stop wasting pigeon eggs - where are you getting them from anyway? .
