How to increase humidity inside an Incubator?

How can I increase the humidity percentage inside my homemade egg incubator to about 80%, it's only about 40% now. I have a thermometer inside. Any ideas???

1. increase the surface area of the water, add an other dish of water. the bigger the surface area the more evaporation the higher the humidity
2. you can put a small dish of water in it, you can put a sponge in it.
