Would this be consider a problem, please help!?

I have a two week old chicken egg with a possible live chick in it. I candled it today and noticed the air-cell is the same size it was when the egg was 7 days old. Now the egg is 14 days old, I keep it in a homemade incubator and I do have a small container of water in it for humidity. Should I be concerned if the air cell is slow on expanding to the size it should be? If so, should I add another container of water or leave the incubator the way it is? I'm concerned that too much humidity may possibly be too overwhelming for the chick that is possibly alive in this egg. Please answer No jokes or wise cracks allowed I don't know what type of chicken it is but thanks for telling me. I have seen lines in it that look like veins, Earlier this week I put my ear up to the egg and heard what sounded like a heart beating so the chances are its still viable.

1. Well, some eggs develop differently do you know what kind of chicken it is? Too much humidity will not hurt the chic (as long as its not under water)My mother used to fill the bottom of incubator almost up to the grate, but it held like 50 eggs just remember to turn the egg and not to open the incubator too much. However I am not a professional so....
2. Well here is the thing if the egg is now 14 days old you should have able to see the veins and even the beating heart at 7 days. So I am thinking that maybe the egg is not viable. 4. Take a look at this site... http://www.homestead.com/shilala/candling.html Down on the page is a photo of an fertilized egg at about 2 weeks. If your egg looks a lot less full then that you probably have a dead egg.
