How can I build an incubator?
My Dad and I are considering breeding African Greys. My Dad has a whole bunch of wood, plastic, spare parts, etc. that I know we can use to build an incubator. Does anyone know I can build a reliable incubator for african grey eggs? ANy links to instructions would be great too. Thanks!

- http://members.cox.net/lovetiels/incubator.html this is different from poultry incubators, but it is a special one for caged bird eggs and it is really easy to build hope this works EDIT: here are two to make a brooder too, the first one is from the same webpage as the incubator and the person who made them had success with them, so if you want to be consistent, go with the first one http://members.cox.net/lovetiels/brooder.html http://www.birdsnways.com/wisdom/ww64e.htm
- My dad used to breed quails, and would make incubators out of thermostats, light bulbs, and plastic trays. If you're going to seriously breed, you should probably just go out and buy your own incubator. It's best to have something reliable. They're expensive, but breeding any animal is expensive to do properly.
