Do you think Mary had a problem with being used as a human incubator without asking permission first?

Mary, as a woman of God, was most likely very honored and humbled by the fact that she- of every girl on the face of the Earth- was chosen to carry and give birth to the son of God- Jesus, the one who would save the world from sin. I know that I would have been extremely honored- permission would have been nothing to me- to carry the Jesus? My Savior and Lord? that would not have even been a question. :) God Bless.

11. As shown in the scripture deacon quoted, Mary consented. If she had not consented, according to Church tradition, it would not have happened. This is why Catholics believe in the Immaculate Conception: They believe that by making Mary regenerate at the point of her conception, God prepared her to be capable of making this choice freely. (Unregenerate, or unsaved, persons cannot participate in their own salvation, which is what Mary was doing, in effect.)
