Chook Me!

Help me track down a PC game i played in elementary school in the 1980s?

When Computers first came into school back in 1987/88/89 (New Zealand) we played a game where we had to find dinosaur eggs and crystals. Then we had to get across the water to an island where we used the crystals to activate the incubator to hatch the eggs. Was sort of educational.. cant remember how lol. Was a fun game and would love to play it again. HELP ME!! Thanks

  1. wish i could help you more but this game is most likely considered abandonware now (the creators no longer make a profit and its free) if you do find out the name look up abandonware sites and download it.. was it for a commodore 64.. is it pixely... could the game be called dino eggs? http://youtube.com/watch?v=FpoTwHAVd7w
  2. Sorry all I can remember is something called Dinosaur Adventure 3-D .Description Explore Paleo Island and learn about dinosaurs. Numerous pre-rendered 3D movies and scenes abound to entertain kids ages 4-8. The object of the game is to find and hatch nine lost dinosaur eggs hidden on the island. Six mini games will earn you hatching crystals. You'll have to collect three crystals to hatch each egg. When you've hatched all nine eggs, you will get to watch Rolf and your nine baby dinos take on T-Rex!
  3. Hi there! The name of the game was "Dinosaur Discovery" and it was for the BBC Micro. I found this by doing a web search for '"BBC Micro" dinosaur'. I played this too, when I was in primary school! You're bringing back fond memories. I was the computer kid who knew more than the teachers, and for this game in particular, I figured out how to input a "break" in the middle of the game, dropping me back to the shell, then issuing a "CHAIN" command to load the final screen. Excellent times.
