chicken broccoli bake?
Chicken Broccoli Casserole: I am looking for a good recipe for this.? My friend makes it and supposedly it is a family recipe so she wont tell!. Anyway, the obvious ingredients are chicken, broccoli and onion rings to top i guess. I dont know what else is in it..... maybe cream of chicken or mushroom soup? possibly mayo but that just sounds gross. i m lookng for something with evaporated milk and or a cream soup. ok by the way guys i am looking for one without rice, no mayo and with the onion rings......help!if anyone knows pleaseeee share. thanks

- Use fresh or frozen broccoli. Cook in salted water until barely tender. Put in buttered casserole. Cook chicken breasts, debone and cut into chunks. Put on top of broccoli. Add salt and pepper and a little parsley. Put Swiss cheese slices on top. Cover with 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1 can cream of chicken soup (mixed together) in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, covered. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs and bake, uncovered 10 more minutes.

- This is pretty much the standard recipe for chicken broccoli casserole. It does contain Miracle Whip, but it's a necessary ingredient to make the sauce come out smooth. You could try substituting sour cream, but it may curdle if you do. CHICKEN BROCCOLI BAKE 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. broccoli 3 c. cut-up chicken Velveeta cheese slices 1 can cream of celery soup 1/2 c. Miracle Whip 1 can sliced water chestnuts 1 can French fried onion rings Grease 9x13 pan. Place uncooked broccoli on bottom. Put chicken over that. Mix soup and salad dressing and pour over. Spread the water chestnuts on and then the cheese slices. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread onion rings on top and bake 20 minutes longer. May be made ahead and refrigerated.

Hope this is what you were looking for!: CHICKEN-BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 1 (20 oz.) bag frozen chopped broccoli 3 1/2 lbs. cooked chicken breasts, boned and in lg. pieces 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 c. milk 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1 can French fried onion rings Cook and drain one 20 oz. bag of frozen chopped broccoli. Place in bottom of a 9x13 baking pan. Cook 3 1/2 pounds of chicken breasts, bone and skin, leave in large pieces. Place on top of broccoli. Mix one can cream of chicken soup with 1/2 cup milk. Pour over chicken. Cover with two cups (or more) grated Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cover with 1 can onion rings and return to oven for 5 minutes.
