Chicken and rice casserole dish.. what can I spice it up with?
OK, well weeks ago someone wanted to know an easy chicken recipe for two, and someone posted a recipe like.. "put chicken drummettes in a casserole dish, and put rice in it, and place in oven.." but i want to add some seasoning.. what would be good? Like Adobo... or.. maybe broth?? And do I use raw chicken?? And how many drumettes should I use for a meal-for-two?? I dont want to keep leftover chicken in the fridge, im scared it will go bad or cross-contaminate. Im kinda just now learning to cook. thanks

- Well it's almost aros con pollo(chicken and rice), so one ingredient that's A MUST is cumin seed. Not the grind, but the seed. It's what gives it 'THAT' taste. Trust me, it's good.
- in a caserole dish put rice, cream of mushroom soup, frozen broccoli. put raw chicken on top. bake until chicken is done and rice is tender. when it comes out i like to sprinkle sharp cheddar cheese on top. quick, easy and good (even better as leftovers)
- hi there, for two 6 drumettes ( or any other part of chicken ) 2 cups water 1 cup rice 2 tbs. oil salt, pepper, garlic powder, or adobo wash chicken and season it, set aside , heat water add in casserole add rice, oil and 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 1 tsp. garlic, stir, add chicken so they be covered, bake at 275° d. for 30 to 40 min, serve with a salad, enjoy
