  1. I believe Tikka Masala was only thought up in the UK for the UK market and is not an indian dish
  2. Why don't you place this question in my storeonwheels Yahoo! Group?
  3. Prawn curry could be Indian (but also Thai, Malay or Indonesian) gourmet chicken burgers: USA, I think Chicken Tikka Masala: Indian but from the UK http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_tikka_masala Spaghetti Bolognese: Italy Chicken in pastry: either UK or USA (?)
  4. Prawn Curry is Indian yes. Chicken Burger might be American Chicken in Pastry might be British
  5. Your guesses are spot on. The chicken in pastry could be french "poulet encroute". I have a french farmhouse recipe in which it stands, but the mediterreans prepare it as well. But googling should help. But if you mean chicken pastry as chicken pot pie, then it origins come from the pennsylvania dutch. I wish you the best of luck!
  6. Chicken casserole - Coq au vin - France, although to make a creamy sauce you would have to use white wine, not red. Jingha Madras - from India, although now it should be Jingha Chennai. Gourmet chicken burgers sounds like a contradiction in terms - probably USA. Bolognes is a pasta sauce, supposedly from the town of Bologna in Italy. Mince meat, Italian herbs, onion, garlic and tomatoes. Chicken tikka masala (the most popular Indian dish in the UK) is not strictly speaking Indian. It's a UK variation. Chicken in pastry (en croute) could be French, but I'm not sure about that one.
  7. My 2 cents... Chicken Casserole - Greek Spag Bolognese - Italia Prawn Curry - India Chicken Burgers - Germany Tikka Masala - UK Chicken Pastry - French
