how do you cook chicken wings?
Public Comments
- from frozen, 3mins in microwave on around 1000w
- Did you want them deep-fried? If so you just take some raw chicken wings, roll them around in raw egg and then dredge them in flour. After that have some vegetable oil (enough so that the chicken wing becomes submerged) heating on the stove or in an automatic fryer. Once the oil is really hot (to test it throw a small amount of flower on the oil while it's heating up, if the flour evaporates quickly then it's ready) dunk the chicken wings in there for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
- you can either fry them or put them in the stove after marinating or seasoning them.
- I season them with salt and pepper and bake them until done. Then I glaze them with a mixture of apricot jam, soy sauce, and sesame oil (heat on the stove while the wings are in the oven). Yummy and easy! Good luck!
- ..or try this ..Marinade in a mix ot tomato/soy sauce with mixed herbs and brown sugar/honey for 4hrs+ (garlic and ginger too if available). Roast in hot (230DegC) oven for about twenty min on tray (don't cover with foil)..and leave to cool in residual heat about twenty min.
- Simple & my favorite: Wash them, dry them, cut them at the joints, toss the little end piece. Place the rest in a foil lined pan, at least a couple of inches deep, in a single layer. Then, shake on Crystal Hot Sauce, turn them to the other side & repeat, until they are all coated. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes, take them out & turn them over & do the hot sauce thing again, return to the oven for another 20 to 30 minutes. Serve with ranch or bleu cheese dressing, some coleslaw & french bread...and you've got a tasty meal! Enjoy!
- marinate them - chilli or teriaki sauce for example, then bake for about 1/2 hour
- in the oven at 350
- defrost overnight[if frozen, covered with tea towel]then wrap in tin foil, cook for about 40 mins[180degrees]take off tin foil and cook for further 15mins to brown.
- Well I cut them in half so I have sorta wingettes. They cook better and more even. Anyway I usually fry them. First dip them in a flour mix. Add seasoning to taste .They are good crispy. Or you can marinate in soy sauce or teriaki and coook in skillet the same way you would fry them but with less oil.Add a little water as they cook so they don't dry out.
- COLA CHICKEN 1 family size package chicken wings 2 cup catsup 2 - 12oz. can cola (pepsi, coke, etc.) 2- packages McCormicks Buffalo wings seasoning Put chicken in a non-stick pan. Mix together catsup and cola, seasoning….pour over chicken. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook 45 minutes. (turning chicken a few times, while cooking...to prevent from sticking to pan) Cook until the sauce becomes thick and adheres to the chicken. It turns into the most incredible BBQ sauce. Yummmm! I used the spices from a MILD (I don't care for "HOT") Buffalo Wings packet...(the kind you get to bake in the oven).....I thought it was really good.....(but you/I can't find a 'bad' way to fix chicken). This recipe is doubled…..for my husband and myself…I use ½ the ingredients. You can double…the double….and more as you like. BBQ Ribs Use the same method….leave out McCormicks seasoning. Ribs & Chicken wings both good…..and……‘s I m p l e’…..to fix…!!
