- Don't kid yourself... theres more chickens then you'd ever be able to count.
- Chicken sweat shops....
- Of course there are. Chickens are processed for human and pet food. Money making parts like the breasts, wings and drumsticks are often sold separate.
- millions and millions and i just found out that they all stay inside so the odds of the bird flu are almost nil. eat up and please do lick your fingers.
- Obviously, there are that many chickens in the world or the wings wouldn't exist. Lots of chicken is sold broken down into indiviual parts and wings used to be considered pretty worthless because they have comparatively little meat on them. They were dirt cheap and most "poor folks" food who could afford better parts. The "buffalo wings" became popular and created a big demand for this part and the price went way up. So, much of a bird not sold whole might go to be tenders or other parts or part of cooked chicken products like hot dogs and prepared foods, but most wings are diverted to the "wings" business. I'm pretty happy, because they are tasty!
- at restaurants like that, it is mostly breast meat. like at kfc and wingstreet (pizza hut) bone in and bone out. who takes a bone out of a wing and why? so its really is wing, it's breast meat that has probably been through a long process of separation and then forming and all. but there are a lot of chickens in this worlf. and yes, the wings may be artificial chicken or pou;try substitutes...there are alot of pigeons in this world. i found a bone in my orange chicken at a chinese restaurant; it looked more like a fish bone or sumthn irregular. here is something else to think about fast food places: why are brauts and mcribs only available during certain seasons at mcdonalds....is it because the species that they use is more prevalent in that season...it couldnt possibly be chicken beef or pork...buit i digressed........the chicken could be a subsititute or have alot of subsitutes in it to stretch the chicken
- I'll let you in on a secret chicken wings grow on trees now a days don't laugh I have two wing trees at my house the one on the left side is hot honey garlic and the other one is just mild stop laughing it's true
