I just binged big time, I feel terrible and am tempted to do something stupid?
To clear things up, I have never been bulimic and am not right now. But I've been dieting a little the past few weeks for this huge trip I have tomorrow. Today, just when I felt great, I slipped up, big time. I don't know how many whopping calories this is but I had: - 3 chicken wings - Cold pizza - Strawberries dipped in chocolate - Extra sugary tea I feel horrible. I even thought about making myself throw up. I lost a measly two pounds, felt wonderful, and now I feel like 130 pounds of shit again. I feel like I already gained a pound. I had other plans for today but now they're pretty much in a mess because I locked myself in and binged and I'm just sitting around feeling worthless now. Please, give me some advice, some cheering up, anything that'll make me feel better and more confident for tomorrow??

- What you ate is not going to cause you to gain weight that quickly. You are being to hard on yourself. You need to get some help for you low self esteem.
- it will burn by tomorrow dont worry that food isnt much
- One day of binge eating shouldn't make you worry. You deserve it every now and then. Cheer up and get back on track with the diet.
- don't lie to yourself, don't play the player. you are bulimic it will destroy your teeth burn your throat and your trying to make yourself look good. but making yourself look ugly. try drinking half a gallon of distill water everyday. and eat more vetables. your addicted to sugar back off of it. and talk to your doctor. good luck from the staff of http://www.boeafitness.com
- Unless you ate a whole pizza, you didn't do anything that horrible with regard to eating. You ate some no-nos but so what? It happens to many people. Instead of letting it bum you out, turn it around and make it inspire you to make up for it. Eat very lightly for supper tonight (a salad perhaps) and do some exercise before the end of the day. Take a walk or jog or whatever activity you can get out and do. It's okay...you haven't committed some great sin. Just get back on track and you'll be fine. Don't let things like this cause you to just toss all your hard work away. You're human, you have cravings, you have emotions, and sometimes we just say "to heck with it" and we pig out (goodness knows I do it!) Get back on track, accept that you ate those things, enjoy having had that treat, and move on. ☺
- You didn't eat that much--get back on the wagon and you'll be fine. Do two laps around the block as punishment if it makes you feel better. (I was going to say who cares if you make yourself puke once--but if that amount of food makes you consider it, you are pretty close to having an eating disorder, so don't go that route.)
- I agree with the first reply, you do need to boost your self esteem. But if you purge, you'll feel worse and guilty. Don't do that, you'll stress and make yourself sick. Trust me on that last sentence. I'm already sick with a sinus infection and I'm stressing which makes it worse. Don't worry about what you eat so much. Keep a food journal if you want, but don't stress over it. Hope I cheered y00h up a bit!!
- First of all, do not feel bad. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE has days when they slip up. You are only human. You do not have to sit around now feeling sorry that you slipped. Just hop back on the wagon! You know what you did, now stop it. You have the choice not to eat anything more today. You also have the power to choose not to do the same thing tomorrow. One day at a time. Weight loss can be very emotional, draining and exhausting, especially if when you do slip up you beat yourself up about it. Do not make yourself throw up. That will cause more damage to your throat and stomach lining then binging a little today! Don't deprive yourself. Have a small piece of chocolate each day after your lunch. Make a smoothly with fruit. Be good to yourself! You can do it!
- One mistake does not make everything go downhill. Putting in effort to improve your health is comendable, but beating yourself up over giving in won't help. I would just use how bad you feel right now as a motivator....you know that eating isn't a way to fix your problems. You can't go back and unbinge, so just get outside, take a walk, and clear your head. Tommorow is a new day and and you're the only one who can make it as good as you want it to be.
- As already stated, it isn't really a big deal... :c) If you would really like to repent for your non-sin (after all, were you born not to indulge occasionally? ^_~) then perhaps you could just get into some semi-rigerous exercise or games for an hour. Drinking plenty of water also helps flush out toxins. Believe in yourself. I am sure that there is more to you than a petite figure. :c) You'll be fine!
- First of all GET UP and move around!!!! Everyone over eats once in a while. Dont beat yourself up about it!!! I am sure this same thing will happen again and again in your life. You have to learn to know that it is something to avoid.. but you def. dont want to damage your body over it. Dont make yourself throw up. That is terrible on your teeth and esophagus. Instead make it a plan to eat lighter over the next couple of days. To get yourself ready for tomorrow do several kinds of exercises today. Go for an hour long walk then do an hour of yoga. These are both simple and low impact/injury sports that you can burn a lot of calories at, if you do long sessions. Maybe you should call a friend and have a chat with them about your mess up? Call your mom or someone else who loves you unconditionally and let them know you need some motivation. The sucky thing about eating is that we are faced with it several times EVERY DAY. Falling off the dieting wagon has got to be one of the easiest things on the planet. So give yourself some credit for the two pounds you managed to loose. You will find that dieting is a constant battle of ups and downs, progress and regression. The key is to not let the set backs cripple other parts of your life!!! Now get up and do something!!! :)
- That doesn't really qualify as a binge. There are some bingers that would laugh at that list.. Heck, I had more for breakfast. :) You can't starve yourself forever. Occasionally, you have to indulge or you will give up altogether. Besides, 130 is not overweight. Make sure you exercise along with eating healthy or you will slow down your metabolism, and you won't see any results.
- Get on with the plans you had for the rest of the day- you can't let one little slip ruin your whole day- it happens to everyone, and odds are that it may happen again- you can't be so hard on yourself- it sounds like you've been doing well for a long time- give yourself some credit- congrats on the 2 pounds lost! There is no way you gained weight from this one little splurge! Pick up were you left off and keep moving!!
- your body is use to helthy food and that was bad for you go to the libary and look up the south beach diet i am sorry hope every thing works out
- If you're going after an attractive physique, throwing up your sweets and fatty foods is not the way to go about it. Unhealthy practices, like regurgitating your food, will only damage the look you are trying to achieve on the outside. The more you beat yourself up about the slip-ups in eating right, the harder it will be for you to control. You need to forget about cultural standards of beauty and realize that those standards are directly manipulated by a bunch of corporate folks who make money thereby. These standards are completely arbitrary. Choose freedom by ignoring what they're telling you you're supposed to look like and focus on the good within you.
- just go for a long walk and burn it off and besides you'll live
