I heard you soak Chicken wings in salt water before grilling, is this true?

  7. Ok, I only heard that you should soak any type of poultry in salt water is if it wild game. But not store bought. Here are three things that I will soak it in for moistness and taste. Buttermilk goes great for fried chicken, a mix of vinegar and lemon juice if you are going to grill it. Now to prevent flare up on your grill you mix equal parts lemon juice, vinegar and water. Then add equal part salt to this mix and put in a spray bottle. You spray this over you chicken while grilling to prevent it from burning and to add more flavor. As well as to tame the flair ups.
