Why are chicken wings so popular in Singapore?
You can find stalls selling just bbq chicken wings here. Why not thighs, drumsticks etc? I mean chicken wing has more bones and is more difficult to eat isn't it? On a related note, is it the same for other countries?

- chicken wings are popular everywhere. so darn good is why.
- (1) Chicken wings are cheap. Buy it from the US and you can make a lot of profit. (2) They have a lot of skin, with fats under the skin. That makes them delicious. But beware of the cholesterol.... I used to like it when I was young. But not now.
- It's popular everywhere, the rest parts are used for other dish which do not require the "look", just shred/mince/etc them and put in, the wing is "good looking" so they do it differently.
- compare to other parts of the chicken, it's thinner part to bbq, the heat goes evenly to every side of the wings, that's why i like to bake wings intead of drumsticks or breast, other thing about ckn breast, it just so boring to eat the whole piece meat, we want some bone to chew.
- i think its just fun to eat. and you have to eat with your hands in order to enjoy it fully. the winged part is just nice for you to grip, and then u just gnaw on the meaty part. kinda animalistic in a way, so maybe it harks back to the cavemanic way of eating? very primal.
