- Try beans, corn, french fries, or mashed potatoes, kids LOVE those.
- You are a bigot. That is so anti-semitic! Pork ribs means you are excluding Jews!! Shame! Shame! Shame!
- Dill potatoes
- Spicy cole slaw Grits Red Rice Potato Salad Macaroni Salad Fried Greens Grilled Polenta And, gotta have beer with ribs
- Try Some Steamed Vegestables and maybe corn on the cob: If that's not tasty, look into some romaine lettuce salad with light dressing, cucumbers , cheese, Carrots, egg's and raisons. Then finish it with some strawberry topped cheescake. If Cheesecake isn't your thing I don't know what to tell you.... Adios
- I have several ideas: mac & cheese, baked beans (I love Bush's bbq baked beans), cole slaw (It doesn't have to be sweet), or oven baked potato wedges. But now you've gone and done it....I'm craving BBQ ribs! LOL
- asparagus! no hear me out..even kids will like this. take the asparagus and snap off the ends as usual (the end opposite the spear tip) about an inch should do. put some olive oil or vegetable oil in a deep frying pan, just enough to cover the bottom and half of the asparagus. let them simmer there for a while, until they are soft, but not mushy. then add minced garlic and bacon bits, and stir fry that for a while, again dont let it get mushy. cover the bottem of a deep dish with bread crumbs, and shredded cheese (whatever you like) put the asparagus on top, and cover with another coat of bread crumbs and cheese, and bacon bits if desired. bake in the oven at 350 for about 10 minutes (just to melt everything together. makes a great side dish to anything, but its my fav with BBQ
- Hey, I have a lot of GREAT ideas for you. I happen to cook on a Competition BBQ Team. I don't have time to list the recipes but we've got great stuff! Head to our team website and grab what you want. The site is www.thepickledpig.com. Click on "Community" and go to BBQ Side Dishes. The Crum Family Baked Bean recipe is FANTASTIC! If you have small children omit the jalapinos. Also would recommend Cyndia's potato salad. Kids love the Cheesy Corn Bake and the BBQ Sweet Corn. You can also check out the "Other Recipes" posts in the community as well. Enjoy with my compliments! -Chris

- I usually prepare twice baked potatoes when serving ribs. Ingredients: 4 large baking potatoes 8 slices bacon 1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup milk 4 tablespoons butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided 8 green onions, sliced, divided Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake potatoes in preheated oven for 1 hour. Meanwhile, place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside. When potatoes are done allow them to cool for 10 minutes. Slice potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop the flesh into a large bowl; save skins. To the potato flesh add sour cream, milk, butter, salt, pepper, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 the green onions. Mix with a hand mixer until well blended and creamy. Spoon the mixture into the potato skins. Top each with remaining cheese, green onions and bacon. Bake for another 15 minutes.
