Chicken wings: What temperature, (farenheit) do I bake the wings at & for how long?

Ah, a stupid Q, but I have never cooked wings before. I am sticking BBQ sauce on 'em, then I figured I'd pop 'em in the oven on a cookie sheet. But what temperature & for how long do wings cook for? Thank You, Harry Gams

  1. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on how large the wing pieces are, I'd give them 45 minutes to an hour. Turn after about 25-30 minutes.
  2. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F. Arrange the wings in a single layer on two large baking sheets. Bake until just done, about 25 minutes.
  3. Put them into boiling water for 5 minutes before you put them into to oven at VERY high heat. That way they will cook without drying out first. Do not add the BBQ until they are crispy! Frying is really the best way by far. I cook 7 at a time in a big pot filled 1/3rd full of oil. This prevents the oil from splashing over. If the wings are 12 to a pound it takes about 7 minutes and about 12 minutes if they are bigger.
