If you have had your baby all ready... Did you end up having a boy or a girl and do they like that food now? My 1st was anything greasy! Pizza, steak and cheese subs. YUP she loves them! my 2nd was white rice...She hates it! My 3rd was ice cream sandwiches...she loves them My 4th NOTHING everything made me sick and he is a "picky" eater because he hates certain textures My 5th Spicy chicken wings...ultrasounds says girl :)

  1. My 1st son I wanted veggies and ranch dressing all the time, i mean all the time lol and I wanted Rax but we didn't have one any closer than 3 hrs lol. He still loves veggies with ranch dressing With my 2nd son it was meat at first then it became peanutbutter which I ate for every meal (* a note to that, my second son is deathly allergic to peanuts now) . He can't have it but loved it when he tasted it so we give him soybutter now that is like peanutbutter but made from soy.
  2. My wife craved Mexican. Anything from nasty Taco Bell up to the local nice places. Oddly enough, my son (now a year and a half old) loves tomatos (he ate two whole Romas - gross end and all - while walking around the house), tomato juice (he drank a whole can of low-salt V8 - blech), salsa, peppers, garlic, and both raw and cooked onions. Maybe it's an old wive's tale, but the whole "eat it when you're pregnant or breastfeeding and they'll love it" seems to have come true with my son :) To second mominohio's unstated comment: Don't feed children ANYTHING with peanuts until they are over three years old. No one is born allergic to foods, the allergy is developed through exposure. Our doctor said that there really is no good time to give children peanuts because they are so bad for you. We use almond butter, which tastes just as good and doesn't have as high an allergy potential as soy and peanuts) FWIW, we also never gave our child baby food, and (as is recommended) exclusively breastfed through 6 months (and both breasfed and solids after that). Solids weren't introduced until after his 6 month mark. Children don't need baby food if you wait the correct amount of time, but don't tell Gerber that :)
  3. i didn't have any cravings with first boy, second was a boy and all i ever wanted was lemons and corn flakes...he loves lemons and never really asks for corn flakes, third i had a girl and instead of craving foods, i hated the thought of foods that i normally would want...like cake and ice cream or any chocolate, and i'm a chocoholic.
  4. Cheese sticks, boy everytime and only the last one likes them!
  5. I had a best friend that was pregnant at age 17, and I know she craved weird things like pickles and peanut butter and banana sandwiches...and like mostly sweet things like cheescake was her favorite thing to eat while pregnant.
