Chicken wings sides??
I am making baked chicken wings for dinner tonight. I don't know what to serve with them. I would like anything but baked beans.

- Cole slaw and Garlic Bread.
- french fries or mashed potatoes homeade of course and maybe some corn fritters of hush puppies
- "Quinoa Side Dish" INGREDIENTS 15 g butter 170 g uncooked quinoa 475 ml vegetable broth 6 g chopped garlic 8 g chopped fresh parsley 1 g chopped fresh thyme 2 g salt 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 dash fresh lemon juice (optional) DIRECTIONS Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the quinoa, and toast, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in broth, and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes, or until quinoa is tender. In a bowl, toss quinoa together with garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and onion. Sprinkle with lemon juice, and serve.
- Dipping sauce along with some raw veggies like carrots, celery, etc. Fries and a salad also go well with the wings.
- carrots, celery and blue cheese dressing
- This is very tasty and would go well with wings and oven fries. Napa Cabbage Slaw 1 lime, juiced 3 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 tablespoons Asian chili oil 1 tablespoon mayonnaise 1 tablespoon soy sauce 3 cups finely shredded napa cabbage 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced 1 orange bell pepper, thinly sliced 1/2 cup thinly sliced snow peas 3 scallions, thinly sliced Salt and freshly ground black pepper Whisk together the lime juice, vinegar, chili oil, mayonnaise and soy sauce in a large bowl. Add the cabbage, peppers, snow peas and scallions and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- bake my wings by marinating them in crushed garlic and ginger, salt, lemon juice and paprika for as long as you can, or to a maximum of overnight. Bake them in the oven, turning them once until they are cooked, and then switch to the grill, to make them crispy. In a pot on the stove, melt butter, a bit of vinegar, and Frank's Red Hot Sauce. When the wings are crispy take them out and put them in a large bowl. Pour the sauce into the bowl and shake until well coated.
- Veggies, especially celery, and dipping sauces. Bleu cheese is good.
- Corn bread muffins and baked beans.
- Steamed rice, and make a gravy out of the wing drippings to go over it. Baked potato (throw in oven while wings are going) Potato Salad Cole Slaw Green Salad of some sort
- AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE OVEN GOING, THROW IN SOME TATER TOTS..
- fried corn with green peppers and onions potato salad fettucini alfredo baked potato red beans and rice biscuits cornbread mashed potatoes corn on the cob string beans garden salad the sky's the limit!!!
- I would do mashed potatoes or potato salad
- a nice way of doing chicken though. crush cornflakes and add some spices. soak chicken in milk, then dip in flour and then pat with cornflakes. bake in oven turning regularly. serve with homemade potato wedges (bake potato in micro then cut into wedges. coat in olive oil and season, bake along with chicken) and coleslaw.
- Potato Wedges and Corn
- I would suggest either cole slaw or potato salad, corn on the cob, & bread sticks...don't forget the dipping sauces!!
