Wings! Tender inside, crispy outside?
How do you make baked chicken wings really tender on teh inside and crispy on the outside? I'm making them with seasonings like oregano, vegetable seasoning, garlic, and olive oil. Any tips for baking times, techniques, etc?????

- Cook them quickly in a hot oven. (Temp 425- 450 - about 25 minutes) Mostly you just want to not overcook them - that is when they dry out. Heat your oven very hot and cook the wings layed out on a baking sheet pan in the middle of the oven. Cook until the outsides look golden brown. If you have time t-- marinate the wings for 24 hrs in the oil and garlic herb mixture - this gets more flavor into them and add some salt in the marinade. You can also get a good wing by grilling them.
- Deep fry them, for about 8 - 10 minutes, and then take out but leave in fry basket and then wait 2 minutes, then re-fry fpr 4 minutes....very crispy.
- Coat the wings with flour then deep fry. That will do the job...
