Any Calforinia do you need to be in a certain area to own a chicken coop[.?

I want one but I live in a regular housing track. Is it legal.

2. Should be. When my family lived in C.A., we had lots of chickens. We lived in a regular housing track, you just can't have them at apartments.
3. Call the zoning department, or maybe local Animal Control or an animal welfare organization. That type of law varies by county and community/town so you need to check for your area specifically.
