What does the song lyrics mean" not ready to make nice"by the dixie chicks?

a girl i like wrote this in her title blog.but set her blog to private. i can't read it. i was curious because i told her i liked her.

2. it means not ready to forgive someone. sorta like holding a grudge. i mean when im mad sometimes, i just dont want to be nice. i dont want to give in u know lol

5. I'd say it means she's bitter/disappointed about something and not ready to "make nice" or "get over it just yet!" Give her some time.
6. The Dixie Chicks wrote this song about the huge controversy that occured after the lead singer stated that she was ashamed that President Bush was from her home state of Texas. The public freaked out, it was ridiculous, and there were Dixie Chick CD burnings, it was psychotic. They later made a documentary about it. They were saying, that they weren't willing to back down and conform to anyones opinions, and that they were free to say and feel whatever they wanted, and that they weren't going to ask for forgiveness for being honest and feeling a certain way, and they were pissed that everyone was trying to force them to be silent, and not have opinions.
7. To make nice is to act friendly, or pleasantly, towards someone, usually when you've had a fight or something. So she's saying she'll still angry about something, can't forgive yet, and isn't ready to make up with the person she's upset with.
8. the dixie chicks were mad at president bush about war.they dont wont to apolagize to him.
9. it probably means in my opinion that women are not ready to give you what you want yet until you give the butterflies in their stomachs. meaning until they fall in love with you. or saying you are not yet a big part of my world. this should make some sense to you, man.
