What kind of boots look most stylish now?

I live in the middle of nowhere where I have to wear practical footwear to keep my toes from freezing off. In March I will be spending some time in civilization, and I want to look good. I want to bring one pair of boots. I have three choices, all with a similar one inch cowboy boot type heel. One is a pair of dark brown suede cowboy boots, one is a pair of light brown ankle covering length biker chick boots, and the other is a pair of expensive looking, two tone almost knee length leather boots. If the I wear the high boots with jeans that bag just a teeny bit at the knee is that okay, or do they have to be pencil thin not to look dorkish, even though super skinny jeans would make me look fat... and please don't tell me to get high heels because I never wear them. Thanks. They are still wearing Uggs?! Ugggggggh!!!!

1. i would go with either the first or the last pair of boots, preferably the last. Knee-length leather boots are always in style.
2. Wear the knee-length leather ones; those are so cool! And they really do look great on anyone, and u can wear them with jeans.
3. Well, the most stylish, as far as I can tell, seem to be Uggs. Everyone and their sister is wearing them. Of the three you list, I'd go with the "light brown biker chick boots", I guess. No, you don't have to wear super skinny jeans, most people are wearing boot cut jeans.

6. I'd bring the knee high boots. They can be pretty versatile, and you can mix it up a bit depending on the length of your stay. You can wear them with your jeans tucked in. If you have boot cut jeans, you can wear them over the boots. Or, depending on how the boots look, you can always wear them with a knee length skirt (I'd wear some thick tights underneath for added warmth).
7. If you want to know what guys prefer, it would be the knee high boots
8. you can wear the knee-highs with the jeans cuz everyone does stuff like that. maybe you should get uggs. everyone has them!
