I want to buy baby chicks were do I get them?

I want to get 10 baby chicks i would like to get 1 hen of each one of these breeds phoenix,silver laced wyanddottes, araucanas/americanas,blue laced red wyandotte,the pearl-white leghorn,barred plymouth rocks,speckled sussex,barred cochin,araucana bantams,black tailed white japanese,and molled cochin. If u know were to get any of these as chicks please tell me!

1. Try searching the phone book for a feed store, most sell chicks this time of year. Our animal control/shelter always has chickens of all ages for adoption as well.
2. mostly in a farm or you can go to www.petfinder.com you can all ways rescue 10 chicks
3. There are breeders all over the place online. Most will ship, but they don't ship individual chicks, sorry. You'd have to look at what their minimums were. You can also call any 4H headquarters in your area--if they work with farmers then they may have ordering sources for you. Remember SOMEONE raises these to be judged at the state fair every year.

6. Just to let you know, from mcmurray hatchery you have to order ATLEAST 25 chicks, and you only wanted 10. I say contact your local feed mill. They might sell chicks, thats where im getting mine.
