- The eggs we eat are unfertilized eggs. Hens will still lay eggs even if they are not fertilized.
- 1. the eggs that we eat doesnot have chick while the other has. 2. the eggs that we eat have been developed by the confectionary by some process while the other is given out be the hen. 3. the yolk in the egg which we eat is artificialwhleother is pure.
- The eggs we eat are the same as the one's that baby chicks come out of with one major difference. The eggs we eat are unfertilized which means no rooster is hanging around to complete the process. If the egg is fertilized then the baby chick will form with the egg yolk being it's source of nutrients.
- the ones we eat are not fertilized...
- Time spent under mother hen.
- No rooster! Laying hens are kept in groups of all females so no ferilization of the eggs occurs. No fertilization, no baby chick.
- Well if you come from the country like I do the eggs are brown and you get eggs from the chickens that have not been around the rooster. and from what I understand brown eggs are better than white eggs...and I know from experience that brown eggs taste better than white eggs by far!!
- They are the same. The one you eat is unfertilised ( Meaning their wasn't a rooster involved )
- The eggs that we eat are not normally as maturely developed as the ones that hatch into chicks. Once the eggs is laid, the farmer takes it away from the hen(or any other source) and in so doing will prevent the egg from incubation. What would happen if the egg had incubation from the mother hen(a process called brooding where the hen sits in the egg to provide it with warmth) is that the the embryo would start growing by obtaining food from the yolk and thus become mature-almost the way a baby develops in the womb, till the chick is fully developed and thus hatches, after exhausting its food supplies from the yolk. Actually farmers who produce chicks for commercial reasons still take the eggs from the hens after they have been laid and incubate them artificially at slightly higher temperatures to reduce the time taken before the egg hatches.Eggs should be incubated within 1 week to 10 days after they are laid.
- Eggs that are on sale in the supermarket are not fertilized. Baby chick eggs must be fertilized. My father-in-law had an egg farm. They did not keep any roosters, but had 50,000 employees, laying 300 eggs each a year. He also had 3000 pullets in training at a time. The sign on the property read Endwell Avian Missile Production, 50,000 employees and 3000 apprentices. Fertilized eggs are edible, but keep for less time. You can get them at health foods stores.
- The short answer is they're the same except the ones you eat are / were infertile. The somewhat longer answer is: As an example/comparison, human women produce (lay if you will) eggs every month. Chickens produce eggs every day. Human eggs remain infertile (don't eat them though.... ; )unless made fertile by sperm. Same with the chicken eggs. The ones you eat have not been made fertile by sperm. Put a rooster in the hen house however and watch the feathers fly!
